I'm in pain it feels like I'm inside are falling apart my wolf let out a cry. Last night she keeps telling me that I need to run west that I need to find our mate. So here I am walking down a river finding two dead bodies wolf's rogues. Actually, following a trail of blood. I find fur and more blood. Wait, Sapphire's wolf has white fur! And it covered in blood. I look up seeing the trail continues, I follow it shifting letting my wolf out I run following the trail to a road tire tracks going down it. I run down the road it leads to a compound, I see men standing outside shirtless, guarding it, I smell them, and they smell like rogues. I’ll kill them for hurting my mate.

I want to take off running and find her, but I can’t. That isn’t the smart thing to do. I need to play it safe and form a plan and get reinforcements here. I reach out through my pack link and tell my father what is going on and send him images of where I am and what I followed to get here. I hear him growling in response and started to gather the strongest in our pack to come to me. I was beyond furious. I was seeing red but the only thing stopping me from charging in was the life of my mate. I could feel her through our mate bond. She was so close, and I couldn’t do anything about it, yet. When I look back up I saw something that was odd.

A man in a suit standing at the front gate looking directly at me a smile on his face. He bows then turn around walking back inside the gates closing behind him the two men shift and run towards me. Great I needed a good work out and this would take the edge off of killing. The ran towards me while I just stood there. When they got close enough I side-step and grab one by the tail. He yelps when swing him, knocking them both ground. On impact, one break’s one's its back leg and struggles to stand up. The second is up already and tries to bite me, just missing me. I jump to the side shifting in the process and latching onto his neck, blood falls onto the ground. He tries growling but the blood comes out instead. He struggles and the harder I bite down. I let go, his lifeless body drops to the ground. I shift again looking behind me the compound while rogues guarding it, my mate I can feel her wolf. Crying out in defiance and strength but also pain to me. As strong as I am I can't take that place on my own.

I need help, tears falling down my cheeks. I haven’t cried in years, not since my mother was killed right before my eyes. I'm crying, that’s a moment I allow myself to take in. I know what this is and I know what it is. "Your heart is breaking." I look up to see my father stands there a small smile on his face. My head falls, and the last of my tears fall. He pulls me into his arms "It's ok baby girl we'll get her out of there I promise you that." I nod my head slowly. My dad was here and I was feeling the power flowing through my veins. Nothing was going to get into my way. I was going to save my mate and the fucker who took her was going to pay for it was his life.

I called out to Sapphire again, and she responded with strength and something warm. I couldn’t place the feeling, but I like it. My father was here and by nightfall I'll have her back and this time I get to have her in my arms and never let go.
