Surgery, it's something that is so common now, you'd think that with all the plastic surgery doctor do on a daily basis it be difficult to make mistakes or mess up, but sometimes the patient gets something they never asked for, maybe the charts got mixed or the doctor/nurses forgot to ask or share some details or maybe the body rejected the new addition, in some cases the doctor might have accidentally left something in the patient.
However, what happens if the surgery was a success but not in the way the patient asked for?
There were once two brothers, Apolis and Asmit, they were different from other children, unlike most siblings, these two shared a body, they were the center of attention to everyone and so they're parents in a way used them for fame, the two brothers although they shared a body they couldn't be more different from one another, Apolis was happy carefree and always tried to see the positive side of life. Asmit was quiet and rarely ever showed any emotions and he always looked so gloomy and sad.
For a long time these two were all the people talked about but it got more intense when one day a well known doctor declared that he had been wanting to try an experimental procedure that could separate the brothers and give them a normal life, everyone was excited to see if the doctor could pull it off, he reassured them that he could do it.
When the day finally arrived everyone held they're breaths in anticipation for the results.
Before the surgery the two boys were left to talk before they went under.
Apolis: I'm so excited! Aren't you??
Asmit:....yea..I guess...
Apolis was put down by his brother's lack of enthusiasm and playfully nudged him on the head
Asmit: ow! What was that for??
Apolis: try to be happy! We'll finally be able to live our own lives, I promise when this is over we'll be able to finally play together like other children!
For a moment Asmit didn't respond, but slowly a smile formed on his face
Asmit: yea..
It felt like seconds that Apolis fell asleep and soon woke up in a hospital bed, the nurses and doctors congratulating him for a successful surgery, and he realized he now had full control over the left side of his body, that day everyone celebrated but not Apolis, not after what they did to his brother.
