Now at this point I don't know what to think, my little sister has appeared out of nowhere like nothing had happened, still, it's kinda sad in a way that only I can see Mina, but I'm glad that I can see and hear her in the first place.
What I'm thinking is she's having trouble crossing over, propably due to having some sort of unfinished business.I wonder what that unfinished business could be? is it me?I start on the path that is the longest way home.
"Keito, you're going the long route again..." She said.
I mean can't you let me take all this in Mina? I think a long walk is suitable.
"You don';t know how much I've missed you" I said to her.
'"What're you saying? you seen me yesterday, didn't you, and we walked to school together yesterday too!" Said Mina as she protested.
"Sorry, I can't help it" I said scratching my head.
Another reason I chose this way home, the long way is that nobody can see me talking to myself—damn that'd be embarrassing and I don't think I could live something like that down.On top of that it would spread around school and I picture Aya laughing. That won't happen, I try to convince myself.
"So what did you do at school today, Mina?" I asked.
We learned about politics, it was so boring!" SHe exclaimed.
"I could see that being boring, it really is hard to make politics interesting" I said.
"You know if I ever lost you, I don't know what I'd do, Mina" I said.
The pain still there, like a ticking clock, hoping that she won't dissapear on me,
"I don't know what your saying big bro, but I think you're way too tired, you should try going to sleep at a time that isn't past one O'clock" She said.
"YOur right, MIna" I said as I stretch my arms.
"You're always right" I mutter.
We finally get to the 'KOgawa Residence and Mina's first in the door when I unlock the door with my key, "I'm home I yell"
"Oh Keito" Said my mother.
"I'm cooking you and Mina's favourite" She said.
"Gyuu-don, sounds great!" I said with a big grin.
I wait for supper to be made and then eat my bowl of gyuu-don.
I wait for MIna before I eat.
"What are you waiting for?" Asked my mother, "It's going to get cold" SHe said.
"Itadakimasu, lets eat!!" I said.
"I think I'm going to have a better time at school now that I"m making new friends" I said to my mother.
"OH yeah, that's good news?" She said.
"Oh look, there's your father,"
"You're just in time for supper, Daichi" She said.
"A smile? that's rare, " Said my father.
"This is really good said Mina" as she took some from the stove spoon.
I finish eating, "Is it okay if I hang out with Kenji for a bit?" I asked.Probably the only person I could tell about Mina being a ghost and me being able to see and hear her is Kenji.
Firstly, no one would believe him, second he would most likely keep it to himself, probably under some stupid conditions.
"Sure," Said my father.
"But don't come home too late" Said my mother.
I went upstairs and called Kenji on my cellphone, seems like he isn't busy so we agree to meet up at the shopping district.
