Time had returned to its course, also, my small spell acted with it, a circle of pure energy floated in between the guys causing a very small explosion.

Both of them flew a few meters away. And so as their face masks apparently, the girl got near me, just before the now fallen almost robotic faces took a more mechanical appearance, yet, the guys seemed to be ok, but these little robot like things started reforming into a more arthropod form.

They became thinner and certainly larger, few legs emerged from their thorax, and surely, a double tail, yet, their faces looked just to be one eyed.

The girl just stepped on them, and right away the boys woke up.

They look disoriented, and certainly out of their minds.

-What Just HAPPENED? - I shouted at my newfound companion.

She turned with a scared gaze in her eyes.

-Are you okay?

-What were those?

-Face eaters -She answered with a concerned look. –They shouldn’t be here.

-What do you mean?

-They are usually fearful and coward, they are dark creatures, yet they attacked you in the middle of the day. –She took them by their tails.

- What are you going to do with that?

She didn't answer and turned around pretending not to hear him.

Aaron followed after her.

-What are you doing?

She kept unanswered walking outside and towards a lonely place between two buildings, she took out what seemed like an old IPhone and placed the metallic bugs over it, a bright light shined all around the scraped metal bug before it disappeared.

-Surprised?

The girl finally answered.

-What did you do to him?

Aaron took a few steps away.

I retained them.

-H...How? Why?

He approached her just to discover there was nothing in the pad.

Surprisingly he remembered the exam in that moment, an alarm for it rang through the whole place.

He turned; when he looked back she was already gone.

He couldn’t stay and look for her, he ran as fast as he could to get before the door closed.

He arrived just in time. His new friend was already sit in her desk, and the exam was about to continue, he hurried to his seat right before it resumed.

Looking around, he found his aggressors sit with a confused look on their faces, both sat on their respective places.

Aaron returned to his exam, the questions started to get more complex, also the answers began to require designs and schemes.

Part after part I kept going, looking to this girl every once in a while.

There was just something odd about her, the moment I realized she was aware of the spy, I found himself immerse in my own thoughts just before noticing something even weirder, her clothes were different, some minutes ago two people tried to abduct him, he lost control over his body, a girl he just met tried to save him, and yet everything somehow just seemed normal.

The question now was ... What in the world just happened?
