It was only darkness. It was neither cold nor humid. Just the dark without any light to break it.

But when the five souls have been collected and brought back here; light rose around them, pushing away the darkness. Their five unconscious bodies laid on the ground. They were all dressed the same way as when their souls have been collected.

Arthur was the first to wake up. He rose from the ground as if he has been electrocuted. He erratically palpated his chest, shocked to be still breathing. The place where he was standing was surrounding of darkness expect of the small glimmering circling the bodies and himself.

“Annie? Annie! Where are you?” He looked for his sister, panicking.

He noticed he was not alone, three others persons were here. One of the girls was showing signs of regaining consciousness, Arthur rushed to her help.

“Ugh…”

“Hey, how do you feel? I am Arthur. ”

“I am good, thanks. I am Soifra, answered looking him straight in his eyes. How did I respawn here? Oh my! Are we dead? ”

“I don´t remember coming her. I woke up. I just remember a…”

“Violent death? She asked, jaded. I died ran over with a car. It was a yellow bug. I often imagined how I would die, but not with something as un-epic as a yellow bug. ”

“I think I did a cardiac arrest. It is quite offending, knowing I was in the sport team and watched carefully my alimentation”.

“But, I mean it is impossible that we are dead there and alive here. This cannot exist”

“ Would be Death ironic? groaned a voice behind them. I am Seo-Yun. My last memory is me falling from the top a shop ladder, so I hope it is a prank”

She woke up minutes before joining the two already conscious, and she spent them convincing herself it was just a bad dream induce by lack of quality sleep and her fall.

A piercing yelling made them jump. Behind them was the last boy to have regain consciousness, only wearing a swimming short and a necklace.

“Sh*t! I can´t be dead. I can´t have drown. I am not a f*cking prime minister. ”

“Hello Not-Prime-Minister, I am Arthur. ”

“Lachlan, answered completely lost ,the half-naked boy. Are we in limbo? Purgatory?”

“I have no idea, responded Arthur. We have been up only for a few minutes”

“There is no clues to where we could be, rejoined Seo-Yun. It does not seem it is a room or anything just dark and this light. ”

“It seems the cat is dead. Informed Lachlan. Why is there a cat with us? ”

“Stop poking the cat with your foot, berated the woman, it is not that filthy animal that would help get out of here or understand why we are. ”

“Ouch! I can now confirm the cat is not dead. I got clawed. ”

“You deserved it, chuckled Soifra. You should have not teased it. ”
