Holy shit that was a long ass walk. I finally arrived to school. When I checked the time on my phone it was already 5:45. I got here quicker because I was chased by a dog on the way over here. Exhausted physically and mentally from it. I fell onto a bench to catch my breathe. Groaning in pain; my feet ached like hell. I slipped of my shoes to see students passing by, give me strange looks. Until one student came up to me. A girl. I look up to see who it is and it's Janet Anston. She took a seat next to me, "Henry, you look like a homeless teenager."
"Hardy har har Janet. I just walked three miles to get here. I'm really not having the best morning."
"You know, Henry. You could've just texted me that you needed a ride. I would've gladly picked you up." She scuffled my curly hair, "Anyways, I have to go find Alice. See you in history." Janet says bye to go find her bff. Basic friend forever. Janet has always been..somewhat of a friend to me. We met back in middle school where all we did was just copy each other's homework and cheat on tests. I think Leo was jealous of our friendship at the time.
Speaking of Leo, I have to go find the little guy. Soon to be senior, he still looked like a freshman. The two of us are like Peanut and Butter. We both happened to hate jelly. I marched my way to the Culinary class. It's usually the place where I find Leo scavenging for breakfast. As I head into the place, I see Leo. He was leaning against a desk on the floor. He also happened to be reading a book. Before I could take a look at what it was, he put it away.
"Hey, Henry. You look like shit." Leo joked. I took the note I found in my car and tossed it to him. I even explained what happened.
"Your dad made you walk that far?!? Why didn't you ask Janet for a ride?" "Ugh...even she told me that. I wasn't thinking." "Well we got a whole hour left until school starts. That's when Mr. Linder gets here. So let's feast my brother!" He held out his arm to the class's large fridge. He put down two chairs for the two of us and set us a table. He knew where everything was at in this place, so I let him do his thing as I sat and waited. Awhile he was busy I went on my phone. There was nothing much on it. Just a random game about hot dogs and six people I message. Which just consists of my friends and my parents.
15 minutes later, Leo was done with the food. This is why Leo is my best friend. Just like my mother, he knows how to make some great eggs. Especially scrambled eggs. As the two of us enjoyed our meal we talked about our summers. How we'd go see every new movie coming out, play video games up all night, and go shooting bottle cans with Leo's BB gun. We were children for soon-to-be seniors. Both of us don't like the fact that we're growing up.
There did come to the point where we talked our year. With only two weeks left. No one had anything to do now. Finals were next week and that was it. Most classes just throw parties or potlucks. However, Mr. Kings did not. Leo and I shared first period with him. He was our English teacher. The worst of the worst. It was the one thing that we won't ever miss from our Junior year. Knew for sure he didn't like our class. We did wonder how he felt about his other periods.
As the bell was soon to ring. We hurried and cleaned all the dishes and left the class before Leo's teacher comes back. Even though Mr. Linder knows about Leo making food every morning. For some reason, he seems okay with it. We entered our English class last as usual. From the Culinary class to our English, it was from one end of the campus to the other. As soon as we got there, the bell had rung. I know for sure, Mr. Kings marked us absent. As we take our seats next to each other, of course, we say hi to the twins.
Dylan and Damien Roth. The twins were inseparable. I always thought twins had different personalities with same looks, but nope. These two enjoyed everything together. However I preferred Dylan over Damien. Damien seemed really douchey to me, but with Dylan. I enjoyed talking to him during first period.
