I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. Pounding my hand on the dismiss button, I get up and walk to the bathroom. I look into the mirror and see my hair in a mess. "Do I really need to brush my hair today? I mean it's the last day of school." I pick up my brush and brush through the black birds nest sitting on my head.
After several minutes of brushing and arm pain, my hair sits in a high pony tail. As i run my fingers through to make sure I got all the knots, I hear my mom come up the stairs. She does a soft knock on frame of my door which happened to be open before she walks in. "You almost ready sweety?" She asks. I find my favorite shorts to put over a pair of black leggings to match with my white tank top. "Yep! Just have to grab my gym bag and my back pack." I turn around to see my moms beautiful face with a smile as big as the crescent moon. "Oh you're getting so big! Stop it!" We laugh and I hear a sweet voice calling from down stairs. "Hey, are we going to school or not?" I walk down stairs with my mom to be greeted by my best friend Baby.
I give Baby a hug and she already has my car keys. "Alright miss impatient, we're going!" I say with a giggle in my voice. Mom kisses me on the head and we head to the garage. "I call shotgun!" Baby howlers. "Who else could possible able to sit there? Unless you invited Casper, I don't know." I say and she bursts into laughter as she gets into my 1967 Navy blue Ford Mustang. I put the keys into the ignition and the mustang's engine purrs. "To school we go!" I say as we pull out of the drive way and make our way to Densine High school.
