After a few days, Neal got discharged. They returned to their home. After which Dheer got busy with the forging. He did not start quickly with the star metal but first practiced with the normal metal. After a lot of failures he slowly got familiar with it. As he got confident, he started with the star metal.
After working vigorously for 18 days he created the hand, he ran out with joy to fix it for his father. As his father put the metal hand, it attached perfectly.
It took time for his father to get used to the metal hand. A month has passed since the incident.
He took a drop of blood his mother and father then crushed it on both of them. An energy shield which is invisible to naked eye formed around them.
“Dad how are you feeling now?”
“I am good donot worry too much. Also this metal hand is good, I never thought you can forge even this.”
Then they chit chatted on some random things.
“Dheer can you tell me if you met god Tvastr?”
Dheer was quiet for a few minutes looking into the sky. With a sigh he looked into his father’s eyes. Curiosity can be seen in it along with pride.
“Ok I will explain, it all started on the night when I reached uncle’s house. It was the first night I dreamed something.”
************
On the night he reached his uncle’s house:
Dheer was fast asleep, suddenly the star shaped locket started glowing lightly. His soul came out of his body and went inside the star.
He felt different and opened his eyes. It was completely black at first then small pond formed infront of him, the lush trees appeared. Slowly the surroundings started to change. It vaguely resembled the outskirts of his village.
He was shocked to see this. He did not have words to describe for what was happening infront of him. He pinched himself and felt a little pain, the odd thing was he did not feel the pain immediately it came after a minute.
“What’s going on?” he thought.
Suddenly a blinding light appeared infront of him, Dheer covered his eyes. When the light vanished a man was standing in-front of him, one step above the ground, he was big, strong and had a light beard. His eyes were sharp and red like he had sleepless night.
“So, it selected you” he said with a sigh. “Fine, I don’t go back on my promise.”
Dheer was completely stunned to see him.
“What is your name?”
Dheer was still in his shock and was unable to reply. The man lightly tapped on his forehead and asked again.
He quickly awoke from his shock and asked “Excuse me mister, may I know who are you and where are we?”
“It is a small space which I created to teach my disciple. However the settings are not done by me. You tell me where are we?”
“Ah... at the pond near by my village” he looked around once again and answered.
“Hmm okay, let’s start with what you have come here for.”
“May I know who you are?”
“I am Tvastr, the weapon maker for gods and you will call me Master or Guruvarya.”
Dheer was again dumbstruck by the explanation. He did not understand if it is real or a dream.
The man scanned Dheer for a minute then a surprise look emerged but it was only for a second, as a god he knew how to control his emotion. "I see, so you have come from a long line of weponsmiths family” after a second he took out a needle and pricked on Dheer’s finger.
"Ouch" Dheer felt the pain.
“Hmm interesting, you are from the linage of one of the early weapon craftsman humans who were taught by a sage present at the time of creation of the first weapon."
