We enter the examination room as Soruya says with a playful smile "Are you sure it's not a different dog than before? He looks so different now." Then she adds "So tell me, where did you two find him and do you know what happened to him?" Buddy lands on the examine table before we can answer. "Looks like I got two patients today" Soruya says. "No, Buddy is just an idiot, you can't save him." Devlin says with a playful smile as he pokes my side. I stick out my tongue to him. Then he gets serious as he says "I found the puppy just outside of town, in a grassfield. He was already hurt when I saw him. Thankfully Danami could lure him and pick him up. We don't know what happened though."

Soruya examines the puppy for other injuries and then carefully treats his wound. After she's done she says "I had to stitch his wound. I don't see any other injuries, but I'd like to keep him here for oberservation for a week. Just to make sure he's fine. Come with me" She leads us to the recovery room. There's already a bunny named Daysey and a cat named Simbaya. For some reason Simbaya looks more like a lion than a cat, and Buddy, who followed us again, seemed to have noticed that too. He lands on the cage and caws "Rawr, I'm a lion". Soruya places the puppy in the cage next to Simbaya, on top of Daysey's cage. "You can check up on him in the morning. In the mean time I'll try to find it's owner." Soruya says as she locks the cage.

"Oh it's almost dinner time, I didn't know it was this late already." I say as I look at the big round clock that's hanging on the wall to my right. "Let me say goodbye to him before we leave. Oh and Soruya, thanks again." I say as I smile and hug her. I turn to the puppy again as she leaves the room. "Get well soon, okay? I have to go now, but I promise we will be back in the morning." Then I focus on Buddy, who has no intention to leave yet. "Come Buddy it is time to go." Buddy shakes his head and as I walk out he caws "fine, bye pup" and tries to catch up with me.

Me and Devlin step outside of the vet's office again as he asks "Hey uhmm... wanna go grab dinner?" I'm a bit surprised by his question, but then I answer "I'm sorry Dev, I can't, I have to go home, it's already getting dark..." Devlin looks a bit dissapointed, but he understands, I always have to be home before it's dark. However, the lanterns are already burning bright today. It got dark early, too early. "Alright then" he says, "Should I pick you up tomorrow or do you want to meet here?" I look down and say "I'll meet you here". We continue to walk in silence, and part of me feels like we're being followed, when all of a sudden Devlin says "Oh and Dana". I look at him surprised "Yes Dev?" I ask, unsure of what he wants. "Message me when you get home?" he says with a big smile on his face. I can't help but to smile back at him. "Alright, it will be the first thing I do when I get home." Not long after that, we say goodbye and go our seperate ways. It isn't that long till I reach my house...
