"Ok, so step up to the warp pad over here" the advisor advised.

I hated the advisor. He was horrible. He told me what to do.

"Ifnie Dracon, get your ass over here!"

I shuffled over to the warp pad.

"Your going to Earth. You died there about 12 years ago. You will not remain in the form you are in now, nor the form you were in before you died. You are to protect a young boy named Rynn Caciler. Do not, under any curcumstance, hurt this boy. Got it?" the advisor asked me.

"Yessir."

I stepped upon the warp pad with my bare feet. It was cold. It started up. It made loud whirring sounds like a chainsaw. A blue beam emerged from the warp pad and made me float above it. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the ride.

When I arrived on Earth, it was much colder than where you where before. It was winter. A dog licked my face it started barking. A plastic play mirror lay on the snow. You picked it up.

My skin was solid black, like ash, and I still had no eyes. My hair was a whiteish grey. I had adorned a red jacket that the elbows pointed a little. And blue jeans. But no shoes. My teeth were sharp.

I tried to speak.

Nothing came out.

Speaking felt like my lungs were filled with sand.

My breathing began to slow down. Was I dying again? I couldn't tell. It wouldn't be surprising if this world wasn't suited for demons to be on. I brought my hand up to my face. It was begining to become translucent, like a shadow.

Then my breath stopped. I felt like I was suffocating.

My breath returned. Breathing again felt like a thousand sharp knives every time I took a breath. My skin was again solid black. I could see, but I knew I still had no eyes. I quickly turned around. The warp pad was still there, hidden in snow covered bushes and bramble. I was very tempted to step back on and go back. There must of been some info I had missed.

But I didn't. Instead I walked forward. Where I was going, I didn't really know. The only thing that mattered was that I were on Earth, and hadn't died in the process of getting to this cold hunk of rock.
