"Oh! Yes, the Headmistress told me you might come, though I didn't think I'd be seeing you so soon." The nurse said. Draco laid Harry down on a bed. "Yeah, one of his past injures caught up with him. He won't tell me what happened but a chunk of his hair fell out, he got a bloody nose, and it looks like his eye got hit pretty bad.
Madam Pomfrey nodded and checked Harry. "He'll be fine. Broken nose and a black eye. I'll give him some potion for the pain, but that's all I can do." She said. "Well, what about his hair?" Draco asked. The nurse just shrugged. "It probably just got pulled out."
When she was done, so shoed the two boys off the dinner.
In the great hall, everyone crowded around Harry. Draco didn't want people asking about it, so he covered Harry's face in a glamor that hid his eye.
"Aww! He's so cute!" "What spell caused this?" "You did this on purpose didn't you?!" The crowed went on and on. Draco became very annoyed very fast. He looked down at Harry, who looked like he was gonna cry.
"STOP ALREADY!" He boomed everybody went silent, so he took his chance to talk. "Can't you see you're upsetting him?" Draco pointed at Harry, who had buried his face in the Slytherin's robe.
Quiet mutters broke out just before the crowd dispersed. Once they were all gone Draco sighed in relief and looked back to Harry. "Hey, are okay?" He asked. Harry nodded. "Yes. I don't wike it when peopo surround me wike dat." Draco had to hold back a snicker. "Trust me, you're gonna grow out of it." He said, patting Harry in the head.
They ate dinner. Harry was continuously amazed and had become a little more comfortable with the idea of magic.
When they made their way back to their room, Blaize had already moved out and Harry's stuff was in Draco's room. There was also a well stocked draw of robes for Harry. Draco looked around. They seemed to have forgotten PJ's for Harry.
The little Potter put away his tiny little shoes and climbed up into bed with his robes. "What are you doing?" Draco asked. "I'm going to sleep." Harry said. "You're not just sleeping in your day clothes. Here, one second." Draco started shuffling through his stuff. We pulled out an old long shirt "Here. Where this. It might be a little big, but it'll do for a night shirt. Do you have play clothes for the weekends?" Harry shook his head. Draco sighed. Alright, we'll go shopping in Hogsmeade day after tomorrow. Okay?" Harry just nodded. "Um, what's Hodshmead?" He asked. "Oh, right. It's a town near here." Draco said.
Harry yawned and stretched his arms out. Draco chuckled. "Alright. Time for you to get to bed" Draco said. Harry climbed up into his bed and quickly fell asleep. Satisfied the boy was asleep, Draco also git ready for bed.
He took a shower, got changed, and warned everyone that Harry was sleeping. When he was done he crawled into his bed and started to drift off the sleep.
Around midnight he was woken up by the sound of tiny whimpers. He tried to sleep though it, but found himself incapable, so he sat up to see what was making the noise. It was Harry.
Harry tossed and turned in bed. Whimpering out apologizes and such. He must be having a nightmare. Draco begrudgingly sat up. Leaving the comfort of his warm blankets, Draco walked over to Harry.
He gently shook the boy. Harry shot up with a start. Panting, he stared at nothing for a moment. Then he shook his head. "Dwaco?" He asked unsure. Then he hugged the blonde, almost as if he were making sure he was real.
"Harry, are you okay?" The little boy nodded. "Yes. I had a bad dweam." Draco, not knowing what to do, just held Harry until he was calm.
"Dwaco." Harry said. "Can-, can I sweep wif you tonight? I'm scared of the dawrk." Draco looked around the blackened room. He sighed. "Alright, but just for tonight." He said.
The great Harry Potter is scared if the dark. Draco chuckled at the thought. Wounder if he ever grew out of that one?
Draco told Harry he could sleep on one side of the bed, but when he woke up, Draco had become a pillow.
He carefully moved his way out from under the sleeping boy. Trying desperately not to wake him. As luck would have it, Harry was NOT a morning person.
Malfoy conjured a Tempus. 6:30 am. He should be able to get them both ready and down the breakfast in time. First, Draco took a shower. Then he spelled his robes on for the day and styled his hair. By the time he was done with all if that it was 7:45 am.
Draco gently shook the sleeping boy awake. "Come on. Time to get up." He said. Harry just tossed over. So, Draco tried again. And again. And again. Finally he raised his voice to be more demanding. "Come on. Get up." He said, tapping Harry's shoulder lightly.
Harry hissed in pain and held his shoulder. "Sowry. I'm coming." He said sitting up. He hung his legs over the bed when Draco stopped him. "Harry, can I see your shoulder?" He asked. Harry shook head. Malfoy, being the irritable person he is in the mornings, let off a more demanding tone, though still gentle. "Harry James Potter, you show me your shoulder right now." Harry's head dropped and he lifted his sleeve. Sure enough there was a bruise there. Now that Draco looked at Harry, woken up with several new bruises, though some looked at least a day old.
Because the aging process was faster, Harry's body could live through several days in a single night. He'd grow by 2 to 3 years a month until he was 18 after all.
After he was sure Harry was okay, for the most part, he sent Harry to get dressed.
