“If he wants me fine; but this is the last time. I won’t let Belle get hurt because of him again. The big games tomorrow so where going to settle this tonight.”
With Lumiere and Tarzan at my side we walked at sundown to the football field. If this was going to go down I want to be on neutral turf, I looked over at Zan he was still on the phone. As soon as we had left my room he got on the phone, as soon as he hung up I asked him who he had called.
“I called in some back up and then I called Jane to let her know what was going on.”
“Where is she? I’m surprised she’s not here.”
“I don’t want here hear. I don’t want to take the chance of her getting hurt.”
“So it’s okay for Terk to be here but not Jane?” Lumiere said as we spotted Tarzan’s back up walking onto the field.
“Terk can hold her own and she would beat me up if I told her not to come.”
“That’s right and don’t you forget it.” Terk said as she walked up with Tantor, Flynt and Mungo. Terk had her long black hair pulled into a messy bun on top of her head and was taking off her earrings and putting them into her pockets. She wore black jeans, black boots and a white and black striped tank with a leather zipped up vest. Leather gloves covered her hands but where cut so her fingers where free. After she put away her earrings she pulled a black beanie on her head to cover her hair and ears. Flynt and Mungo looked mirrored with their black beaters, baggy black jeans and black boots. Both of them wrapping their knuckles like a boxer would. Last was Tantor, who you would think would stand out with his tall, thin frame and red curly hair but he fit right in with the rest of his family. He wore a skin tight black t-shirt that showed off his muscles, black jeans and black boots. He was wrapping his knuckles just like his cousins.
“Thank you guys for coming.” They all grinned at me.
“Family is always there for one another no matter what.” Terk said and pat me on the shoulder. We didn’t have to wait long for Gaston and his buddies to show up. I stepped forward and looked him over.
“This is your only warning Gaston; leave now and don’t bother us again.” Gaston laughed.
“Man I am so sick and tired of you and your high and mighty attitude. I’m not walking and I’m going to teach you a lesson you’ll never forget.” I nodded and Gaston threw the first punch. I dogged it and started to dance with him. Before Gaston had shown up we had all decided we would do our best to dance around, avoiding getting hit but also trying to avoid hitting them, until we have to defend ourselves. We didn’t want to risk any one getting really hurt. So every punch Gaston threw at me I dogged and danced away.
