I helped Adam to his room, the nurses cleared him to leave the infirmary today. When he went in a few days ago he had a cracked rib and bruises on his arms, chest, abdomen and face. Lumiere informed us yesterday that Gaston has been expelled along with his friends. After we had explained to the three head mistresses what had happened not just with the fight but before they had decided we were only acting in self-defense and couldn’t hold us accountable.

I helped Adam to his bed and laughed when he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me down with him. I looked up into his bright blue smiling eyes.

“How are you feeling?” I asked and rested my hand against his shoulder.

“I’m good, better now.” He pulled me closer to him and I giggled and sighed. Ever since we came clean about how we felt about each other things have been light and fun. “Belle there’s something I have to tell you.” He said and sat up. “With everything that’s been going on I completely forgot about the winter dance. I was hoping you would go with me.” I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought him down to me for a kiss.

“Yes, I would love to go with you.” He pinched my chin in his fingers and looked me in the eyes.

“I love you Belle.”

“I love you too, Adam.” He brought his lips to mine and we forgot about the rest of the world.
