It was then, that his body transformed into a young woman’s body. It wasn't just any woman’s body, it was that of the woman from his childhood, with red hair, emerald green eyes, and white complexion. He saw her naked breasts, then remarked to himself that they would have been fantastic to look at in a different situation. Ty did not know how to feel after his first encounter with the female breasts. He didn't feel anything in particular, he just felt what the woman felt:
Numbness, solemnity… slight anger?
The woman turned around and started to walk out of the bathroom.
Hey-hey-hey-hey-hey! Ty tried shouting as loud as he could in his mind. At least wear something, you idiot! Stop! Hey!!
The young woman hesitated for a moment and seemed to listen to his voice. She looked at her breasts.
What a view! Ty thought embarrassed of himself again. The woman’s body looked pretty to him, even in first person view.
The woman put on Ty’s clothes that were lying on the ground. They were all far too big on her. She then turned around and proceeded to walk out of the bathroom into the main corridor without uttering a single word.
At the same time, Zeno’s sense of honor and righteousness started coming back to him. He quickly left the room to the main corridor to look for his friend. As soon as he closed the door behind him, he saw a red-haired woman coming out of the bathroom, as pale as a washing powder but nevertheless beautiful to his taste.
Wow, he thought. For a moment, he was just studying her.
The woman looked back at him, her face showed no signs of emotion. They were standing there in silence staring at each other.
Help me, help me! It’s me you, hopeless idiot! Don’t look at her, look at me, oh my God! Why don’t you see it’s me? Zeno. Zeno? Zeno, give us a sign! Man, you are a hopeless idiot! The person in front of you is a mirage, not an actual woman! ZENO!Ty screamed at the top of his lungs trying to reach out to his blonde friend who didn't seem to hear him at all.
“Hey, do you come here often?” Zeno finally gained the courage to speak and blushed with embarrassment as he could not come up with a more flattering opening line.
Dude, you are disgusting! Ty felt furious and helpless that he was unable to do anything to stop his friend from flirting with the woman, who held him captive in her female body. He felt that his manliness would get severely affected by this event soon.
The woman only raised an eyebrow then slowly walked closer to the young man, collapsing to the ground. Zeno reached out and caught her just in time.
“You drunk? How sad. You might not even remember my face in the morning -”
“Kiss me,” the girl hushed with a slight determination in her voice.
No, don’t do it! She is just teasing me, panic overtook Ty as he was desperately trying to reach out to his friend to stop him from getting closer to the woman.
The woman’s sentence surprised Zeno a bit. He felt fairly calm since he didn’t care much for it being the first kiss. Man, she is gorgeous, he thought, suddenly feeling a bit dizzy.
Then he just went for the kiss.
No! Ty cried out as loud as he could to show his disagreement to the kiss but the other two completely ignored him.
The end. At least for Ty, it felt like the end. Strangely enough, him losing his own body didn’t feel as bad as this. He felt that there was no turning back. The woman had power over him. He began to sink deeply into his own abyss but a sudden burst of outrage overtook him.
NOO! Ty shouted even louder than he thought he could. He refused to let his life end like that. He swore that he would get revenge somehow on the red-haired woman.
Immediately, the red-haired woman briefly lost her consciousness and he managed to gain control again. He was now in a female’s body.
Great, he rolled his eyes and sighed to himself.
As Zeno was trying to wake her up, Ty freed himself from his friend’s arms, and run back to the bathroom. Zeno went after him.
“Go away!” Ty shouted at his friend as he locked the door.
“It’s okay. Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you… “ What was her name again? Zeno found himself thinking. “Anyway, sorry. But you asked me to do it.”
“Go away!” said Ty more impatiently.
“It couldn’t have been that bad,” chuckled Zeno in disbelief.
“PISS OFF!“
“Okay-okay,” Zeno raised both of his hands defensively. “I am going away, no need to panic. You hear me, I am further away.” He was walking away slowly, backward, “Even further. Do you hear me? I am not even here anymore,” then he shut the dark wooden door of his own room.
Ty fell asleep on the cold bathroom floor. He guessed that it would be wiser to think about his female body parts tomorrow. Being drunk did not really help either. He was also feeling awful. His head spun violently in a crazy whirlpool and his body felt like he was in a washing machine. At that moment, he did not consider himself as lucky as when his birthday party began.
The next morning came. Ty woke up and realized he had to relieve himself badly. That was when he remembered.
Oh yeah. Wasn’t he supposed to be a girl? What a weird dream.
He shuffled out of the bathroom. He saw the girl who wanted to hit on him the previous night.
“Oh, so you were in there?” She said. “I thought it was out of order. Hey!”
“Hey,” then he walked away. The girl went in after him.
Tyson continued walking straight ahead until he ended up on the large balcony of the third floor. The sun was up, it looked like it was afternoon. The terrace had a view on the city, which mostly consisted of two-story buildings. Further away, he could see the large blue sea. There weren’t any clouds in the sky. All in all, it was a pleasant day. He stretched his arms and made a big yawn, tears filled his eyes from the sleepiness. He wasn’t feeling as bad as the night before. In fact, he was surprised he did not need to puke. He considered his life lucky again and thought that the red-haired woman must have been a really bad dream.
Not long after, his best friend, Zeno, appeared in the doorway behind the white transparent curtains.
“Ty, you’re not going to believe what I saw yesterday,” he grinned.
“Oh yeah, good morning to you, too,” said Ty with disinterest and yawned again.
“Yesterday, I saw this beautiful red-haired girl, and –”
Ty froze in the middle of his yawn. “Wait, you SAW her?” he asked in disbelief, almost hysterically. No, it would be crazy if the woman from yesterday was true.
Did she really come back from his childhood to haunt him again?
“You know her?” Zeno straightened himself, and his eyes seemed to be sparkling with interest.
Ty’s startled. “No –” he suppressed his voice and turned away. The fact that his friend seemed to be interested in the red-haired woman disgusted Ty. His feelings were clearly visible on his face.
Zeno looked at his friend suspiciously.
“Is she really that bad?” He asked eventually. Ty gulped, staying frozen in the same position. Then he slowly nodded. That seemed to be enough for his friend, “Well, she was acting weird. She wanted me to kiss her and when I did; she escaped. What a weirdo… Was she your girlfriend or did she just have a crush on you?”
“I don’t know.” Ty forced down another gulp and licked his lips, which became suddenly very dry. He did not really know what to say. He felt he couldn’t let his friend know that he had schizophrenia before and that it may have come back yesterday. Zeno was his close friend and probably the best but he often felt they were not that close since he had never talked to him about his past about being possessed. However, what would explain the appearance of the red-haired woman? If he would tell his friend the truth now, it would be just weird, especially with his current good reputation.
“It’s okay, dude, I get it. Or not really, but if she left such an impression on you, I guess she is something,” then he walked away, leaving the still frozen Ty alone on the balcony.
Ty let out a long sigh then turned to face the ocean. He wasn’t surprised to find the red-haired woman on the balcony, floating in mid-air. He checked that no one else was behind him then he quietly closed the door.
“Hello,” he said, looking down at the floor. He was scared to look into her eyes. “So we meet again.”
The red-haired woman just stood there and she did not make the conversation easier by showing any emotions on her face.
“What do you want? How did you manage to make my friend see you? Now I definitely know you are real,” his voice did not come out as loud and as confident as he wanted it to.
A slight interest appeared in the woman’s eyes. Ty peaked at her curiously then continued.
“What do you want from me?” He paused for a moment. “Do you have any unfinished business?”
Yeah, that’s why usually ghosts are trapped here in the physical world, easy, he thought. In all the stories he had watched and read about as a child, the ghosts always had some unfinished business. That was why they could not move on to the other world. He continued:
“To tell you the truth, I don’t know how you did it, but you appeared in front of my friend, Zeno, and I don’t think that’s funny. You know what actually? Screw you and stop trying to involve Zeno, or else I will…” now he did not know, what to say. How do you threaten a ghost, which is already dead, anyway?
“Kill,” was the only thing the girl said. She seemed to be having difficulty speaking and the other words she wished to say did not leave her lips before Ty interrupted her.
“What? No way, I am not killing anybody! I will do whatever you want but no killing!” Ty was trying to act cool, even though he felt nervous inside. He had to stay calm, otherwise, he was going to freak out.
“Kill,” said the girl again, pointing at him.
“No!” Ty gulped and violently shook his head. “Do you want me to die?”
“No.” The girl shook her head still pointing at him, her expression stern and she was really trying to concentrate on forming out the words, “Kill.”
“No!“ Ty found himself shouting. “Let me go! I don’t want to die! What have I done to you in the first place? What did I do to deserve this?” Panic began to take over the boy. He came too close to the edge of the balcony rail.
“Shut… up,” said the woman. In the next moment, Ty found himself falling down from the top floor.
He tried to grab onto something but his fingers slipped from the rail, which broke under his weight. As he was falling, his head felt very light and he could barely think.
But the girl could. In the last moment, she reached out her hand and as if she was pulling on an invisible thread that was connected to the boy’s body, she made him fall sideways. Then he hit the fig tree and landed on a large Christ thorn. He didn’t break anything, except his skin got cut in multiple places and blood was leaking out of his wounds.
“You did this?! Idiot!” Ty’s previous panic attack turned into anger. He was shouting more swear words when he saw that the woman, who was looking back at him in agony, was busy attending to her wounds. Apparently, she got wounded in the same places as the boy. He gasped in surprise.
“Same place as me? Does that mean you are somehow connected to me?”
He took a thorn and scratched his left palm. The woman flinched in pain at the same time as him. This did not escape his attention.
“Oh, I see,” a vicious smile appeared on his face. “You can’t hurt me now!”
The woman furiously stared at him.
“Help me!” She demanded.
“No, I have power over you now!” Ty was still stuck in the bush, as he laid back feeling victorious, putting both of his hands behind his head.
“Ty, Jesus, are you alright?” Zeno and Ty’s other friends appeared on the balcony on the same spot where Ty stood before.
“Yup, I just fell.”
“How could you fall that far?” That was Zeno’s last question before the servants of the villa, which only returned in the morning as they were requested the night before, appeared running with an emergency carrier bed in order to take the injured boy inside.
“I will not let you go again!” hissed the red-haired young woman in mid-air as she flew after the servants. She seemed to be using an invisible thread connected to Ty’s body and made him fall out of the carrier.
“Screw you,” he said. The servants helped him up. Ty shook them off first and protested being taken away but his caretakers managed to carry him inside the house. The red-haired followed them furiously, though there was not much she could do after seeing her first attempt of making Ty stay outside failed. On that day, nobody else saw her besides the boy.
After Tyson’s wounds were taken care of, he had to talk to his mother on the phone. The poor woman was worried sick after getting a call from the servants about the accident and she reprimanded her son for about an hour for lying to her about the birthday plans.
When everything calmed down and the neighbor teenage girls sent home, Ty opened the glass entrance door and waved the red-haired woman to go outside with him. He wasn't feeling entirely calm about the ghost coming back to him but he knew he had to act composed if he did not want to look stupid and weak in front of her.
The ghost did as she was asked. She followed him, rising up in the air.
“You know, looking down on me like that won’t intimidate me. You have to try something better,” Ty proudly cocked his head.
“Kill,” said the girl again, a lot quieter than before.
The air suddenly felt heavy. A few minutes passed as the two stared at each other for a while. Suddenly, Ty noticed something on the horizon.
A large white… what is that? He shaded his eyes from the sun to see better. It was a wall of water, which was coming from the sea. A huge wave. What is it called? He had read about it before. Heck, there were some movies about it, too…
