After lunch, it was gym and today it seemed that we were doing basketball. we were in groups of five. My group consisted of: me, Rio, Jelal, Mika and James. Out of all of us Jelal was the only one who played basketball.
"So do you guys know how to play?" Jelal had to ask.
"Of course we do!" James replied turning to us, "Right guys?"
"Yes! Of course we know!" Rio and Mika answered back.
For some strange reason they weren't expecting an answer from me it's like they expect me to know but luckily I did know the rules and how to play.
"Okay you boys your opponents have been decided." he waved at the girls to come over, "It'll be these five girls!"
"What against girls?" James groaned, "Won't they be at a huge disadvantage?"
"What do you mean!? Just because we're girls doesn't mean we don't stand a chance against you!" Lillian mentioned.
"Exactly!" Jelal agreed.
Without daring to say anything else James just let it go. Afterwards, the game began!
"Okay guys." Jelal looked at us, "Let's win this!"
"Yeah!" everyone cheered except for me.
As we were playing, I noticed something. Something strange and that was....
"Kazuya!" Jelal shouted.
The ball was coming my way. I caught it and immediately threw it into the basket. Apparently I did that at inhuman speed but that was really just a normal throw...
"Wow that was great, Kazuya! As expected after-all you're a sports prodigy!" Rio mentioned.
Finally, the match was over and we won. The score count was 50:100.The girls put up a good fight but if me and Jelal weren't there Mika, James and Rio would've suffered a terrible defeat.
"We lost!" Macey muttered.
"Of course we did. What else did you expect? We were against Jelal and Kazuya." Amelia explained then turned to us, "But anyhow that was a great match!" she smiled.
Suddenly, Jelal grabbed my arm and asked,
"Why? Why do you just do nothing!? You have such great talent and yet... And yet!"
I was surprised no-one would ever confront me like that. All over the hall there was tension up in the air. Not a single person dared to break the silence. Then I came back with,
"Why do you care? It's none of your business. Is it?" I glared at him. Although at this moment it would seem I'd be angry, annoyed or anything like that, I honestly wasn't. That was all an act that I had to do to seem normal.
"Oh..." his eyes widened, "I.... I guess you're right.... Well I need to go now... See ya!"
Then he left. He was probably upset. But I didn't understand why...
