"We wil discuss this at length Adam"

The goddess surrenders controls of my body and I begin to descend. I look around and I see the shock and fear in people faces when my feet touch the ground the police officer drags me into his car.

"So... Umm, Mister Police offic-"

Im interrupted

"My name is Phillip"

Ok I finally know his name. Its been like 5 chapters man!

"So Philip where are you taking me?"

He look t me through his mirror 

"To my apartment, there we can talk"

The drive last about 20 minutes his apartment building is average for this city. after we walk what seems to be ten thousand flight of stairs he stop at a door.

"Before we go in I have a few rules."

I nod in agreement 

"ONE. stripping TWO. no drinking and most importantly NO DEATH BEAMS!"

(author here yea the no stripping thing that temporary so don't worry about it ;) 

I tap my ear with the palm of my hand. He has a really loud voice. 

"Are we clear?"

Wow scary

"Yes sir!"

I do a smal salute to enforce my statement. He slowly opens the door and I see a small kitchen a small table a small couch and a small tv.  

"WOW why is everything so small?"

Philip karate chops me on the head with an angry glare.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR"

I glare back at him.

"Its not much but its home"

He give me a small smile and gestures towards the couch. I sit down other stiffly and he pull up one of his dinning chairs.

"So tell me What exactly are you?"
