He glances at me. his doubt Cleary visable

"You will be fine. Just think about the spells you're going to cast and say the words that come to mind."

Now keep in mind while we are doing this people are all around us. The numbers have thinned because of the people who ran away from the water elemental. But there are still a few recording this with their cell phones.

Philips says the words in a whisper. I think he's embarrassed how cute. But then the magic happened, Literally. Small specs of blue dust gathered towards his right arm. The slowly turned red and fire appeared in front of his Palm. And engulfs his arm. Its unstable but at least we know its there.

"Ok your are doing great Philip. but The magic is still unstable. As it is right now it is simply raw magic fire. You need to command it."

I grab his arm that he is using to cast the spell. Since its his first time I am going to give him a little help.

"Imagine your will as an unstoppable force, Nothing can or will ever stop you. Take a deep breath"

As he breath in the fire moves up his arm and pools in front of him.

"Good now what do you want to do with this spell?"

He pauses for a moment

"I wish to destroy that monster"

Time stops and the fire compresses into a ball and shoots at the water elemental. The send it hit I de cast my spell and destroy his fireball. A this point there is no one to be seen.

"Awesome job!, I didn't think you could actually do it!"

He slowly turns his head. I can practically feel his irritation

"YOU SUMMONED THAT THING AND LEFT IT FOR ME TO DESTROY WHEN YOU DIDINT EVEN KNOW FOR SURE I COULD USE MAGIC?!?!?!?"

'"Well I did get rid of it the second you casted your spell right. hahahaha"

He's  really going to kill me
