Once inside, we sat in the back, and so far Seth wasn’t here, thank god, but there was still two minutes till the bell rang and some seats were still empty, and just as I was thinking about this, the person in the thought walked right in. Warmth flared inside me, I took out a notebook and started doodling, trying to distract myself, I heard footsteps come down the aisle and the squeak of the chair next to me as someone sat down in it, I didn’t dare look up, I knew exactly who it was, I could smell the fresh woodsy mountain air. The bell rang and I heard everyone scramble to their seats as the teacher walked up to the front, I had to look up now. Seth’s amber eyes caught mine, I couldn’t move my gaze, I didn’t want to, my gaze dropped to his soft lips, I wondered how they would taste, he was so perfect, inhumanly perfect. Ellie! What is wrong with you! Stop looking at him, he was not making you feel like this, you’re just having a panic attack or something. I scolded myself, but seriously want is wrong with me? A slow grin spread across his face. “You’re Ellie right?” He said. My voice got caught in my throat, his voice was beautiful, melodic. “Yeah.” I said quietly, twirling a strand of my hair. “Nice to meet you.” He said. “You too.” I said wearily, this guy was too nice, there had to be a catch. I shook my thoughts off. Time to focus. I turned my gaze away and focused on what the teacher was saying.
