Emmie

Fen said he was going to use the restroom. Emmie said she would wait 45 minutes later he was still not back. Jessy sat with her hands behind her head and Zavia was Pacing up and down.

“Where IS he?” Zavia asked angrily.

“My mom's going to kill me if I don't make it home by curfew.” Jesse said. Zavia paced more while Jessy and Emmie played Pick up sticks. Twenty five minutes later Zavia and Jessy where sleeping and Emmie was looking over her work.

“Hay guys want to hear a ghost story” Emmie said. Jessy sat up and Zavia nodded.

“Well here is the legend if the wendigo.” Emmie said in her best announcers voice.

The legend of the wendigos

The Wendigo was once a human, but after being forced to eat deer flesh to survive, it become a monster that retained none of the human features that it once possessed. After it’s transformation they begin to crave animal souls and feed solely on them.

Although its name is described as an ‘evil spirit’, it's technically a creature. At the same time. The Wendigo is an embodiment of gluttony, greed and excess; never satisfied after eating a soul, it is constantly searching for new victims. It is also common that the wendigo just captures souls to hoard their food, and than eat them when hungry.

The Wendigos are rarely seen outside of Minnesota or north of Michigan. They are hundreds of years old, and they also have hibernation behavior during long cold winters they must survive-- meaning they must hoard food if it’s scarce. In addition, they keep their victims in dark and isolated places, such as caves or abandoned mines.

Voice Mimicry - The Wendigo can imitate the voices of humans to lure unsuspecting victims.

Immortality - The Wendigo can live forever.

Super speed - The Wendigo possess inhuman speed, enough to move from one place to another in seconds. The Wendigo are arguably one of the fastest monsters.

Superhuman Strength - The Wendigo is incredibly strong, even by monster terms, they can tear souls from limb from limb, snap necks and carry two Elephant souls at once and even drag them up a tree with ease. it considered to be among the strongest of monsters.

Superhuman Agility - The Wendigo can jump from tree to tree without being deterred by the foliage.

Invulnerability - The Wendigo is vulnerable to nothing.

Claws - The Wendigo has giant claws, which they use to hunt or to attack.

Super Senses - The Wendigo possess enhanced senses, making them perfect hunters, it can see perfectly in darkness, and have similarly enhanced hearing.

The sky was pitch black by the time they were done and no one wanted to move afraid that a wendigo would catch them.
