John woke up, expecting to the familiar comforting feeling of his pillow against his face, but instead felt something flat and hard. He sighed as he lifted up his head. He fell asleep at his office desk again. He felt drool on the side of his face. He wiped it off. What time was it? He ran a hand through his shaggy black hair as he spun his chair around and looked at the clock by his bed.
It was 9. Had he really slept for 9 hours? He wiped his eyes, trying to get the gunk out of them. He wasnt a morning person at all. He looked in his closet and saw that the only shirt he really had was an oversized sweater.
"I really have to wash my clothes." He said drowsily as he grabbed it off his hanger.

Parker woke with a start. He was breathing heavily as he grabbed his head. Another nightmare. Just what he needed. He looked at his clock to see it was 9:30. He looked at his phone to see if there were any messages from The Chief. Nothing. He hoped that was good news. He got up and stretched. Then yawned as he walked to his bathroom.
He looked into the mirror and surprisingly didn't seem tired. He looked and saw he had major bedhead. This was frustrating since because of his hair length, he had to brush it. Too tired for that, he decided the only thing he could do was put his hair up in a bun. He hated doing this since the other agents made jokes, including his partner, but at this point why bother? He looked around for his contacts but couldn't find them. "Just another thing to add to the list."
-
After putting his clothes unto the wash he put on his sweater. It was itchy as hell. Trying to remember who gave it to him, he started to make himself coffee. He didn't even like coffee that much. As he was making it, his phone buzzed. He picked it up and read it. 'Get dressed and be down here in 30 minutes. Chief is pissed as hell.' it was a group message from Suzy to him and Parker. He made a loud, almost comical groan before taking a sip of his coffee, effectively burning the hell out of his tongue.
John sighed, "Great"
-
Parker sat down at the table with his breakfast, eggs and bacon, as he stared at his phone. He put on his reading glasses, read a text from Suzy and sighed.
"Just when I thought it was going to be a slow day." He said right before he took another bite of his eggs. He spit it into a napkin. Too much salt.
Parker sighed as he got up from his chair. "Looks like breakfast is over."
He went to go change into his suit.

John walks into the board room, just putting on his jacket.
"What'd you call us down here for?" he said still eating a piece of toast. Just as John sat down Parker walked in. John chuckled at the fact that he had his glasses on and his hair back. Parker noticed. "Laugh it up all you want. I wouldn't be the one joking about hair." he said. "Nice hair" Suzy teased, "and what's with the glasses?" Parker pointed at them, "I lost my contacts."
"You look like a stay at home mother." John said chuckling. Parker flicked his forehead. Just then The Boss came in. "Alright, I'm only going to explain this once so listen and listen good." He said, as he sat at the end chair. "A man by the name of Dave Matthews has just been shot in the middle of the street. We have reason to believe he was shot by a sniper." He started.
"Shouldn't you send a SWAT team? This isn't normally something we'd be assigned to." John said, confused but, intrigued. "This is different." Chief said as he showed the face of a man on the projector. He had a shaved head and from the looks of it, he has a beard that hasn't been shaved in awhile.
"This, is Chris Garfield. He was the top of his class in the academy. He is an expert sniper. Though most call him, 'Hunter.'" John chuckled. "Why do they call him that?" "He hunts for sport." "So?" John said back. The Chief smiled, "He hunts people."
"Oh." John felt less cocky for a moment. "I've seen his profile. He went rogue and is now a paid assassin." Parker said. "Correct. Your job is a bit different then just taking him down. You must also escort one of our clients, Marus, from one end of the street to the other. He's stuck out there." Continued the Boss. "Marus? As in the head of the lead tech and weapons manufacturing business in the world?" Asked Parker, getting more and more intrigued but the minute.
"That's the one. No more time for questions. You need to go now. Take the agency car but park it half a mile away out of sight." Finished Big Boss. Parker and John both stood. "You can count on us." Said John as they both walked out.
"I sure as hell hope so." Said Suzy as they walked out, flipping through the mission brief. Parker took a second and looked at her as they walked off, thinking about how pretty he thought she looked as she tucked her hair behind her ear. He smiled and walked away.
