Parker was sitting on top of the ledge of the bunker. He had passed out for a good hour. Suzy immediately took charge once he did. She got Darkrye out and called for a chopper to pick them up. She even wrote down a briefing of the mission and put the body in a body bag. He had no idea how the agency could stuff her behind a desk. He heard footsteps. It was Suzy. She said nothing. She walked over and sat down behind him, laying her back against his.

"I can't believe I killed him." Parker said, looking off at the rising sunset. "What happened to me?" He said, combing his fingers through his hair. Suzy sighed. "Parker, how long have we known each other?" Parker sat in silence for a minute, thinking. "God knows how long. Since the academy." He chuckled to himself. He remembered the drills they did together. The times they had.

"Do you remember when you put a raccoon in the teachers lounge?" Parker said, holding back laughter. She laughed as well. "That thing lived in there for a week!" She said, in between her laughter. Once the laughter died down, the silence felt heavier. "Do you remember the lake?" He said, rememberence in his voice. She sighed happily. "How could I forget that? That was during boot camp right? We snuck off in the middle of the night, went to the lake, laid in the grass and watched the fireflies." She said, happiness in her voice.

"We just laid there. Holding hands and hugging. I remember." He said quietly. They slowly held hands. "You're not a bad person Parker. He was killing people. You saved who knows how many lives. You're a hero." She squeezed his hand. "I don't have the right to take another person's life. I'm not a hero." He said, so quietly it was almost a whisper. "You're my hero." She said, also getting quieter. After a few minutes her breathing slowed. She was asleep. The sun was up. It was a new day. He squeezed her hand. "I love you." He whispered, knowing she didn't hear him.

-

Parker finally got out of the medical ward. He had to wear bandages around his leg, which itched like all hell. The doctor told him not to itch so all he could do was grumble. He also had to put his arm in a sling. Apparently his punched the guy so hard, he broke his arm.

He was walking to the elevator when he felt something on the back of his head. It was John. He had his hand in a gun formation, pointed to the back of his head. "Bang!" He said, moving his hand up as if it was recoiling. "You're dead! You're going soft old man." He said laughing. Normally Parker hated being called old man, but instead of saying something, he laughed with him.

John was starting to look like his old self again. "Parker!" He said, patting Parker's face, joking around. "What is it?" He said, trying to block his hand. "We should throw a party! Like, we get the room on the top floor, and throw a huge party!" Up. He was back. "But we don't own that! It's a penthouse! God knows how much it'd cost!" Just then, the Boss walked by. Before Parker could say anything, he threw him keys. Parker caught them as The Boss got in the elevator. "Two bedrooms, free of charge. You earned it." The doors closed. Parker looked at the keys. He looked back up at John. John was smiling big. "Ok we can have a party." John yelled in celebration.

-

The elevator opened and Parker and John's jaw hit the floor. It was huge. Biggest room Parker's ever seen. There was a minibar to the right, a giant almost theater screen to the left with couches surrounding it. You had to step down stairs to sit on the couches. "Ohmygoshthisisgonnabethebestpartyever" John said really fast as he ran into the room. They had their stuff brought up already. "THEY HAVE A KARAOKE MACHINE!" John yelled. Parker walked to the sliding doors and opened it. There was a pool. A very nice pool. No, it was beautiful. All of it was. There was another ledge on the side of the building. He walked back in to the living room. John was right. This was going to be great.

-

Parker was getting dressed as he heard John in the main part of the house making calls. First, he had called a lot of people, telling them about the party. Then he called others about bringing beer. Then the pizza guy. The pizza alone was gonna cost a pretty penny. Parker dressed himself in a really nice suit. It was a party after all.

Then, John knocked on the door. "No suits. This is a casual party, you'll weird people out." He said, walking away. Parker chuckled. Ok he needed something else. He looked in his dresser for a while till he found something ok. He put on one of those T-shirts that looked like a suit that John bought him for his birthday. "You wear a suit all the time! Now you can wear one AND be comfortable!" He remembered John saying. He also put on a pair of jeans. He tied his hair into a ponytail because he couldn't bother brushing it.

He walked into the living area (he couldn't call it a living room because it was 4x the size of a normal living room) and saw Darkrye sitting in "The Pit" (the area lower than the rest of the floor where the couches were.) and watching a TV show. It was about zombies. How ironic. He walked over and sat down. The couches were comfortable.

Parker looked at him and sighed. "You ever miss having organs?" He asked jokingly. Darkrye sat for a moment, not saying a word. Finally, he exhaled cigarette smoke. "Nope." He said simply as he went on watching his show. "Gotta admit, this is a nice place you've got here. I'm a bit jealous." He said, sounding impressed. Parker laughed. I'm not sure why the Chief gave it to us." He said, thinking hard about it.

Darkrye puffed another breath of cigarette smoke. "Old stick in the mud seems like he's trying to wriggle himself out of the mud a bit." He said, smiling to himself. "More like stick in his ass!" John said from the kitchen area. They laughed. Suddenly, the elevator dinged and there stood the old stick in the mud himself, the chief. "Ah chief! Good to see you." Parker said getting up. John sat there, scared shitless. Had he known? "Come out to the balcony with me." Marcus said, walking to said balcony. Parker followed behind, his hands in his pockets.

When they got outside, the Chief leaned forward against the railing, and Parker leaned back against it, propping himself up with his elbows. "I just wanted to say thank you." He said, not even looking at Parker. This was a first. He never thanked him. Or anyone for that matter. "For what sir?" Parker said, looking at the sky. "I never thought all of this would get this bad. We've gotten to a point where the Red cloaks aren't even an issue anymore." He said, distress obviously in his voice. "I've given you tasks, and you've completed them, no questions asked." He said, less tense than before. "Sir shouldn't you thank John as well?" Parker asked, still not looking at him. "Don't worry, I thanked him before you arrived. This room is you two's reward. If you need anything else, name it." This time Parker looked at him. "I could use a retirement." Parker said joking, but in a serious tone. "Fat chance." He responded chuckling. He laughed with him.

Then when it got quiet, Parker spoke. "I want Suzy to stop working at the desk. I want you to give her a job as an agent. I won't take no as an answer." Parker said, this time serious. "Done." He said, starting to walk off. "You don't want to stay for the party?" John asked, making cocktails at the bar as the Chief got in the elevator and turned around. He smiled. "I don't do well with alcohol." He said. The doors closed. John looked at Parker. "Did he hear me?" John said, a hint of fear in his voice. Parker laughed as he got in the elevator and hit the resident level button. "Probably." He said, trying to sound serious. "PARKER DON'T JOKE LIKE THA-" The doors closed and the elevator started dinging.

He finally was at the resident floor. He walked looking at the numbers. 719...

718...

Ah here it was. 717. He knocked on the door. It was about 4 PM at this point. The door opened. "Hey Suzy." He said. Shit. She was sleeping. Her hair was a mess and her eyes weren't fully open.

"Oh...hey." She says drowsily, rubbing her eyes. "Sorry. I didn't know you were sleeping. I can go." He started walking away. She grabbed his wrist. "No no no it's ok! What's up?" She said, trying to smile. "Me and John just got the penthouse!" He said, happiness in his voice. "Whaaaat? That's awesome!" She said, starting to wake up a bit. "Best part: We're having a party! You wanna come?" He asked. "Uh...I dunno..." She said, thinking. He made fake puppy eyes. "Stop doing that! Ugh you know I can't say no to you. Ok what time does it start?" She said, she finally seemed awake. "9 PM. Don't be late!" He said walking to the elevator. She leaned against the door frame, staring at him as he walked away. She couldn't wait.

-

The party had just started and there were already a lot of people. Parker gave his music playlist to the DJ. Parker liked a little bit if everything, but loved electronic. People seemed to like it. Parker wasn't a big party person so he kind of just walked around. Suzy hadn't arrived yet but she texted him saying she would soon.

As he was walking around, he saw the elevator open. When he looked to see if it was Suzy. It was a giant duck suit. It was a capsule shape and it was very cute. It was suspicious. He walked up to it and just stared at it. "Do you have an invitation?" He asked, tilting his head. The duck just sat there. Then it raised it arms. "Quack!" It squeaked.

Parker shrugged. "Whatever dude! Just have fun ok?" He said, patting the duck on the back. "Ok!" The duck said, in a voice that sounded very familiar, saluting. Then it covered it's mouth with two hands-er-wings. "Oops I mean...QUACK!" Parker just stared for a minute, then shrugged and walked off. "Whatever. Have fun." He said, walking away.

"Phew!" The duck said, wiping its brow. 'Little does everyone know...it's actually me! RED! And I plan on crashing this party!' He thought to himself. He did an evil but cute laugh. It went quiet. They all looked at him. He panicked. "Uh...quack?" He said, sweating. Everything resumed. 'Another close one...' He said waddling away. He realized too late that every time he takes a step his suit squeaks.

John was having fun. He had invited most of the agency. Most had declined but about a few of them said yes. There were like 30 people total. It was still fun as hell. He's had a good amount of alcohol, so he was pretty drunk already. It was an hour into the party and some people had gone to their rooms. "Pfft. Lightweights." He said to himself. Once Lucy got here...the games would begin...he snickered.

Parker was sitting on the couch. He was still kind of bored. Suddenly, the elevator doors opened. It was Suzy. She was dressed in an oversized sweater that slid over one shoulder and skinny jeans. Parker walked up to her.

"Wow. You look...beautiful." He said. She blushed, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Naw...you're just saying that..." She said, giggling. "You didn't need to dress up so beautifully. You're already gorgeous enough." He said. He meant every word he said. She was giggling, blushing harder. "Stop it ya dork." He laughed. Suddenly they heard a loud clap. They look over and John had clapped his hands together.

"Ok everyone. Party event time!" He yelled, honking 2 airhorns. "You have to be kidding me." Parker said. Suzy was laughing. "WHO WANTS TO PLAY TWISTER?" He said, holding up the twister box. Darkrye raised his hand. So did another random agent. They all laid out the board and started playing.

About halfway in everyone was tangled up. It was Darkrye's turn. "Right foot green." He was clear on the other side. But he had a plan. Darkrye took off his foot and placed it on the green spot. John flipped the hell out. John was so drunk he had his fists up. Darkrye asked for his foot. Parker was laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes.

After that was Monopoly. Playing were Parker, John, Lucy, Darkrye, and someone in a duck suit. Parker won by a landslide due to the fact that he had all the railroads. He gave Suzy all of his other cards. Everyone almost killed him.

Then was Band Hero. John was on the drums, Parker guitar, duck base, and Suzy on vocals. John won that one. He was one hell of a drummer. Second place was Lucy. He thinks the machine is broken because he kept finding himself not playing because he was listening to her lovely singing.

Parker found himself on the couch. He was having the time of his life. John sat next to him. "You having fun with your lady friend?" John said, nudging him. "Oh yeah. This is amazing." He said, patting John on the back. John was hiccuping and laughing like crazy. He was really drunk. Suddenly they saw the duck fall over. People laughed but when he sat up the head fell off. Everyone gasped. It was Red.

"Uh...quack?" He said. He was WAY too small for the suit. He almost looked like he was in a tiny room. "What are you doing here Red?" Parker said standing. John drinking "You wanna fight?" He slurred. Red held up papers. "I signed these. I'm not a terrorist anymore!" He jumped out of the suit. He was dressed up in his regular get up, red robe, black t-shirt. The regular shabang.

Parker looked over the papers. He looked up. "He's right. This is a signed truce between him and the chief. He's not a terrorist anymore." He said. Everyone was dumbfounded. Red ran to play video games. Parker shrugged. "Let's just worry about it tomorrow. Let's just have fun!" Parker pulled Red over and gave him a side hug. "With our friend." Red sat there for a second. "Friend?" He whispered to himself. He then started crying and hugged Parker. Parker hugged back. All at once, everything felt at peace. It was the best night of his life.

But it wasn't over yet...
