Parker kicked behind him, hitting hunter in his side causing him to trip and fall back which caused the blade to come out. Parker began to fall and Suzy caught him. She helped him up and made sure he was ok. Then he saw it. She had a cut on her cheek.

He sat on top of Hunter's chest and started merciless beating him. Hunter's face was almost unrecognizable. He pulled his torso up by his shirt collar and whispered in his ear. "If you ever hurt her again," he started "I'll kill you." He threw him against the ground and stood. He walked over and hugged Suzy and she sobbed in his arms. "You did amazing." He said. He sat with her in his arms.

Darkrye was panting heavily as was Andrew and the other three. They had been trying to attack Andrew but he was deflecting him every time. Andrew sighed as he walked to his partner and threw him over his shoulder. "I've wasted...enough time...on you." He said walking away. They would chase him but they were exhausted.

"Who won?" Darkrye asked Red. "No one." Parker said walking over holding his arm over Suzy using her as support. "We all lost." They started walking back.

They were in the infirmity getting patched up. This was bringing back some bad memories. Parker was in critical condition and in surgery. He was dying. They ruptured his lung and his liver. Suzy has been waiting the waiting room all night. John came in. He had bandages covering almost half his body. He sat next to her. "He risked his life to safe me." She said. "So did you." "We have a knack of doing that from time to time." He joked. She didn't laugh. "Hey look at me." He said. She did. "He's going to be fine." He reassured her. She smiled. "I sure hope so."

Red laid in his hospital bed. Everything ached. He had a few bone fractures from the fight. Nina came in. "Knock knock." She said walking in timidly. He saw she came in and smiled at her. "Hey you." He said. She walked up to the bed. "Are you ok?" She asked. He chuckled which hurt but he couldn't let her know. "I'm fine." He said. He scooted over and patted next to himself on the bed. She hesitated but sat down. "What's wrong?" He asked. She was silent at first. "When I heard you were in the infirmary I just...I was scared." She started shaking. She was crying. He sat up and put his arms around her. "Shh. It's ok I'm here." He said. She turned around and hugged him back. She was sobbing. The reality of this job hit her. They just sat there the whole night. They watched movies, talked, and looked at funny internet videos. But most importantly they were together. She slowly held his hand and he looked at her and blushed. He pulled his hand away.

"Are you ok?" She asked. "Yeah I just...thought you did that on accident." Red said. "You didn't want me to?" She asked confused. "No that's not it..." He said. She slowly held his hand again. Red smiled.

The doctor finally walked into the waiting room. "He's ok. I've suggested that he stay in the infirmary so he can rest for a few days but he refuses." He said but Suzy walked right past him. She had to see him. She came in and she could've cried again. He was almost completely covered in bandages. He weakly moved his head over to see her. "Hi." He tried smiling at her but it hurt his face. She came over and gently hugged him. He rubbed her back. "You can't leave. You have to stay to get better." She said. "There's a lot of work to be done." He said running his hand through her hair. "I'll be ok." "You can barely move." She said. "Please." He sighed. "Ok that's fine. I'll stay." She stood up and wiped tears from her eyes.

"I love you." She said. He smiled as he closed his eyes. "I love you too." His breathing slowed and he finally slept. She sat in the chair next to him and fell asleep.

John stood at the doorway and smiled. He limped back to his hospital room.
