Chapter 9

Connor

Connor stared at Owens Spider bite on horror. Owen would die and he couldn't help him all he could do was watch his best friend convulsed over and over until he couldn't stand it running over to his friend whose mouth was covered in blood And cradled him tears streaming down his face.

“Connor… I…I…. love... you” Owens faint voice rose from the body. Owen looked down in surprise at his best friend Noticing how tiny his form was for the first time. Holding owens skinny form he cried owns body shuddered and went still. Connor looked at the person who saved him who he had a crush on since his dad found him the person who had stolen his first kiss. This person who did all of this was dead in his arms. Connor inspected Owens boddy and saw the wound on his stomach and gently kissed it and cried. Later he went to school and sat in the back and of course there was a substitute. As always he was called up to the board to demonstrate a problem but this time Owen wasn't there to say encouraging things connor blushed.. Why did he have to think of owen why. That only put more pressure on his chest. The substitute had no mercy whatsoever and forced everyone to do an exam the entire time Connor was thinking of Owen. as Connor was fiddling with his pen the teacher came over and looked at his blank page in disgust. Connor panicked and started randomly writing random numbers the “substitute” looked confused and walked off to watch the next person. She had a slight limp and wobbled on her high heels. Connor noticed this and shutterd he knew what she was or had a pretty good guess. He remembered when Owen had the idea to see if he could find his mother and it… did not go as planned.
