“Now some of you may be wondering where exactly creatures came from, well it was said they were Gods sent to protect the earth from the monsters and demons that came from hell, but as us humans began to repopulate we grew stronger and the more we realized that the things sent down for us could grow as a threat, a race with all that power, living in harmony with a race as weak as us humans. We had to do something so we went into a cave and for the last year we worked and worked on things that will be able to kill them so if they start to be a threat we would have a way to eliminate them.”

When Mark's dad was about to talk again a kid yells out saying. “Hey if they were sent to protect us why are we killing them? I mean isn't that a little rude I'm guessing if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have been alive!”

The kid says sorta shouting, then Mark’s dad starts to talk again. “Yes I understand your concern I was just like you when I was your age, but if you let me finish, I can tell you all what happened so your not so confused. So as I was saying, one day as we were in the cave one of the Gods happened to wander in the private cave and saw us talking about our plan but they only happened to hear the part where we were talking about killing them, they didn't hear the begging part. So the God ran back to the area where they were living and reported what he heard.

Then the next day war broke out, the taboos were the first to attack, it was unexpected, we didn't know why they attacked but our prediction was right, they were a threat that needed to be destroyed, our weapons were very effective, we found a way to kill them, we were winning, all hope for humans were reaching its max until they suddenly upgraded they grew stronger more powerful. The humans were quickly dying, we had to do something this was the last resort we had a bomb full of this weird powder that can kill them we took the remainings of the monsters and made it into weapons because it's the only thing that can kill them, we didn't want to go extinct, so we dropped the bomb, at this moment humans were considered the Gods, we talked to the remaining “Gods” and we said that we will be taking over and that we will show you no mercy and you will be slane, we don't need you anymore, and that was the day we took control and why we kill the taboos. We also collected the powder that wasn't burnt and we stored it in a safe place, but we soon ran out of that and there weren't any more monsters but we figured out how to make more of that stuff by building a thing that can multiply powders.” he says standing there taking a drink, of water.

We are currently working on mixing blood from taboos and the monster powder to make a better and stronger weapon that could kill something even stronger than any taboo that has ever lived, unfortunately, this isn't strong enough to kill monsters if they ever come back but we don't need to worry about those things anymore.

I never really knew the story of why humans kill us and I never knew that we were gods. I guess that we really were out in the wrong, do we really deserve to die? Then I hear a kid again.

“Do they really deserve to die I mean it was a misunderstanding! This is why my parents don't like you guys why can't we have equal rights!” the kid says yelling then all of a sudden Mark starts to yell.

“Because they still kill us! One of them killed my mother so of course, we are going to hate them and kill them it's only payback! I mean they are worthless! Trash! They are freaks I mean the monsters are gone we don't need them anymore they all can die! Humans are superior! Once my dad tracks a freak I'm gonna kill it and I will make all of you see! I mean their blood is black! They have powers, and they have strange eye colors, and they look like humans other than their eye color! I find it disgusting they look like us, and let me tell you about the first time I killed one of them!” Then that kid replied back.

“ Yes please do I wanna hear the whole story I bet I can predict the story.” the kid says kicking his feet up and putting his arms around his head.

To be honest, I never thought that humans would actually be defending us, I thought that they all hated us.

“Ok then, i was playing in my backyard and my mom was checking the area for those “gods”and her detector was going off like crazy so she went to go check it out to try to capture it cuz it had strong powers and we wanted to take them to the lab so we can make a stronger weapon, when she got there-there was a little boy and his dad and the little boy kept using his power and his dad was trying to stop him, my mom thought that it was there power combined that was making the device go off that much but she realized only the little boy was using his power so she go her net shooter and went to capture the boy but when she went to do that the dad found out and he grabbed the kid and got his phone and called someone and then ran towards my mom and knocked her weapons out of her hands. I hear a scream and I went running to my mom only to find her on the ground, dead, I didn't know what to do, so I grabbed a gun and shot the thing that killed my mom, I also went to go shoot the boy but he was gone, I decided that the boy didn't matter he will get killed anyway.

The kid is probably dead or being tested on, but that isn't my problem, so got anything to say freak lover?” Mark says smirking.

All I could think of was what Mark said, I wasn't even able to hear what the kid needed to say, I can't believe Mark's story of his mom dying was also the story of my dad's death, I couldn't believe what he said, Mark killed my dad.
