“Hello? Hello? Adam? One, two, three” clap! I jumped out of my skin when when i heard the loud noise right in front of my face. The sudden noise brought me back to reality, John and Lucas were right beside me.

“Seriously? Why did you have to do that? You almost gave me a heart attack.” Still recuperating from the shock, I start to get angry at my friends.

“Dude, we have been calling you for like ten minutes you wouldn't answer, this was the only way.” Lucas said with a smirk on his face. “So what were you doing staring off into the distance like that, you don't usually zone out like that?”

“I met someone, a girl, she was beautiful.” Remembering her made my heart start racing.

“Ohhhhhh is it possibly your soul mate. Whats her name?” Lucas excitedly claims with stars in his eyes.

“ I don't know. She never told me, I don't know if I will see her again.”Thinking back on our meeting, I realized I got no information on her, not even her name. Without that information, it would be impossible to find her.

After saying that, we sat in silence for a couple of minutes. I was still staring off into the distance, hoping she might come back. My mind knew she wouldn't, but my heart hoped she would.

“Ouch, that just got depressing fast.” John was the first to break the silence. He starts guiding me the way back to my house. “Lets get you back home, before you start claiming every girl you meet on the sidewalk is your soulmate” for as long as I could, I kept my staring at the corner of the street.

Walking back home, I kept thinking about her, Whats her name? What was she doing here? Did she recently move? What are her likes and dislikes?

Will I ever see her again?
