As soon as I got back to my room, I called my best friends, Hunk and Pidge. "You'll never believe what happened!" I squealed. I could hear Hunk baking and keys clicking on Pidge's end.
Pidge stopped typing and said, "You saw a seagull."
"No..." I giggled. "Guess again!"
Hunk sighed. "Pidge, you know he's trying to make us guess what girl he has a crush on today. These brownies are amazing!"
I sighed. "Alright. Pidge, can you go over to Hunk's house? Hunk, can we come over?"
Hunk sighed and replied with a, "Well, why not? It's only ten 'o' clock and a Tuesday."
I hung up and dashed out of my room. "Mom, I'm going to Hunk's house, I'll call you if I stay over!" My mom waved without looking up from her cross-stitching. I jumped on my bike and rode over to Hunk's house. I burst in the door and ran to the kitchen. "Pidge, Hunk, I'm here!" Hunk waved hello and Pidge actually looked up from her programming.
"Well?" Pidge said expectantly. "Tell us about this girl." I sighed.
"Really, Pidge? It's not a girl this time." Hunk looked over at Pidge, curious.
"Alright," Hunk mumbled. "I'll sit down for this one. Who is it?"
I giggled. "It's the next door neighbor. His name is Keith." I must've gone on and on, because before I knew it, Pidge was heading home and I was passed out on Hunk's couch.
