Chapter 1 1

Fen

Fen was bored. All day he was learning stuff he had already known and Emmie Zavia and Jessy where in different classrooms so he had to be in a boring math class for an entire hour before seeing them and connor and Owen. Finally after what seemed like forever the bell rang Fen practically ran out of the door and to the lunch room as he found a seat next to Emmie and called to Connor who looked at them and walked the opposite direction. That's when intercom screeched to life and the Principal's voice instructed everyone to go to the gym for a presentation and…. Fen stopped listening. As they all surrounded around the gym doors and found spots to sit Fen noticed the Welcome banner that envited students into the school. Connor signed behind him and as Fen turned around he noticed the far away look in his eyes. As the school quieted down the teacher acknowledged some students before introducing a transfer student Fen looked at Connor as the welcome committee was talking. Connors eyes were glassy like he was somewhere else. Fen experimentally raised his hand and waved it back and forth across Connors Face. No reaction 123 minutes went bye and Fen started paying attention the new Kids name was Ren and that's all Fen new so it was a surprise when The principal told him to show Ren around. Three minutes later as they were walking out of the gym Emmie met up with them and introduced herself. Smiled and left. Fen got a wave of nausea after she walked by and had to lean against the lockers. To keep himself up. Ren looked concerned and helped Fen to his feet. Fen mumbled an awkward thanks and led them to the next class. As they sat down Fen looked at Ren and noticed for only a moment two small figures on his shoulders. After school Fen invited Ren to his house once they were there Fen asked about the figures. Ren who was looking at the candelabres jumped and blushed mumbling that he had no idea what Fen was talking about. As Fen went to the kitchen he saw again the two tiny figures on Rens shoulders. As he turned a corner he stopped and looked back surprised to see that Ren was talking to them fen watched in wonder as he laughed and said

“He almost found out about you guys be more careful ok.” Fen realized they were talking about him and blushed angrily then released Ren had no idea who or what he was and immediately understood. Sighing he came over and patted Rens shoulder making him Jump and fall. Fen laughed and Ren looked at him in horror

“You can see them can't you...” he tried to walk away but Fen blocked him and demanded to know what they where and Ren obliged and told him everything
