While James drove me to Brickstone Inc. I cooled down after my 'discussion' with Jake and was now walking to the entrance of the building looking less like a mad bitch. As I walk past the reception I stop, realizing it's the same receptionist as the day before making me snarl at her. This day just gets better and better.
After stepping out of the elevator I walk once again without looking at my surrounding. While walking, the people at the desk keep their head down not daring to look me in the eyes knowing I would kill the next person daring to say anything. I was a mad bitch once again.
I began walking in the direction of Mr. Harris' office or to put in other words: my office. I open the door not giving a shit about interrupting anything. As the door opens I find a surprised Mr. Harris sitting at his desk working.
"Please tell me why the receptionist isn't fired yet?". I was trying not to lose my cool but I know he could feel the anger radiating from me making him lost for words.
"I-erm-the-the-". If he was not scared of me before, he was now.
"GOD DAMNIT! TELL ME!". This was the result of me losing my cool. So much for my anger management.
By my outburst, he stopped stammering and finally told me that the internet had been down all night resulting in him not finding any new receptionist by today.
"Please tell me you at least found me a new assistance?" By now I was messaging my forehead. I seriously need a vacation.
"No-". By his answer, I started taking deep breaths to relax. I could seriously kill him right now.
"-but I have a replacement until the new assistance come".
"Who?". By my question, he relaxed seeing my anger disappearing a bit.
"My nephew. I know your first meeting with him wasn't that great but please give him a chance. He's the only one available right now to take the spot and I think it would be good for him to learn from you". When the fuck did I start to be Master Yoda?
"I will think about it". Not!
"Thank you, miss".
We then began discussing once again and while discussing Mr. Harris came with some ideas to the changes happening in the next few months. By the end of our 2 hours discussion, we had covered almost everything that had to be covered until the meeting with the higher-ups in the company. Looking at the clock, I made the decision to head home.
Before I left the office, I remembered the one thing I had to ask.
"Mr. Harris?"
"Yes?"
"Could you recommend any schools around this area? I'm looking for a new to go to". He smiled.
"Redwood Highschool, it's the same school Zachary go to".
"The asshole?"
"Yes, the asshole". By now a wicked grin was plastered on my face. This will be interesting...
