Fatal Moon: Angels Axia

Ripped

Ripped

Sep 06, 2018

His golden eyes widened at that, widened just as much as they had the night his Ana died. Widened at what he knew Mikha’el was about to do to him, with everyone else distracted by fighting. He could feel the strong grip on one of his pure white wings. The pressure of the warm hand that had at one time brought comfort, now only signified despair. He felt the tug against his flesh, it was small, experimental, almost what could be called gentle.

But soon the tugging gave way to tearing, and his left wing was torn from the socket. He let out a blood curdling scream, white hot agony like fire ants dancing with giant hornet stings all over his body. He threw his head back and screamed even louder when his former lover’s foot came down onto his back. Between the bloody stump and the remaining wing. Lucifer wanted to curl into a ball, he wanted to cry, let his pain-soaked body find some escape.

But it was not to be, the hand settled on the next of his twelve wings. He squeezed his eyes closed. The pain was like the fangs of a beast, ripping into him with its deadly sharpness. He could hear his wing tossed over by the other one. The foot on his back pushed down to prevent him from moving. He bit into his bottom lip until blood exploded in his mouth, coating his tongue with his anguish. The third wing was yanked out faster than the other two, he squeaked in pain. By the fourth and fifth wing he was merely trying to squirm. By the ninth wing he was numb from the endless pain, his eyes were dead. He lay there in a near catatonic state, a thin stream of drool falling from the corner of his mouth.

Once the final wing was removed, he awoke from his daze. His eyes stared off into nothing, Mikha’el grabbed his head by his hair and pulled his head back. They stared into each other’s eyes for a long time, Mikha’el’s blond hair like a curtain around them. "I love you..." he whimpered and Mikha’el's large hand moved to caress the side of his former mate's face tenderly inside the curtain of golden blonde.

"I know. Forgive me my hatchling, forgive me brother, I know not why I am saying these things to you, it feels as if a memory I should have but do not" Mikha’el’s voice was robotic, Lucifer’s heart clenched at the tone. So long ago, during their time as Axia Called, the mistakes made, the death of their first hatched son so long ago, Mikha’el being reprogrammed after Lucifer’s trial. It hurt, it all hurt.

Fuck, fuck! Why did I come here? To give my angels time to prepare themselves for revolution? I am dying to do that? No, if I didn’t do this then my child would have been killed. The same as my first born...I had no other choice, this had to be done. I could not save Alchemion, my beloved Arch Babies or the others on my own team. I could not save my only love from being mind wiped.
I will never forgive myself for what happened that night. Never as long as I exist, it had to be done. There was no other way, but it did not mean that myself as a person does not feel regret for my actions, I should have tried harder, I should have been a better leader! A better role model, a better angel, in my own Axia calling. In my own Axia calling I hesitated in the worst way possible and they all died, not all of them, but enough. But, at least I can save everyone else. The ones living in the here and now. Foolish babies, it was I that was the true fool who could not even protect his own offspring…

He could see Mikha’el more clearly, he was shaking, it was clear to Lucifer that pain was wracking his own body. He looked up at his beloved twin as the taller suddenly paused, frozen. The powder blue haired angel knew he was hearing God’s voice in his ear. With blank eyes the rebel leader’s gaze rolled over to the sound of ripping. A hole had opened up in the street, sucking down cars and gold bars alike. When the cars hit the earth, they turned into horses which ran off.

He could hear the other sigh, Luci’s still breathing, blood drenched body was laying there in a prone position. He could feel Mik’s foot violently jabbing at his side. He watched his Mik mouth something, ‘I will always love you, sweetest hatchling mine…Forgive me’

Lucifer smiled a bit at that, just for him, behind the curtain of his former lover’s hair. But soon, he was picked up, being carried. He stared up at Mikha’el then, as he dropped him through that hole. Lucifer could feel himself sigh as he fell. Mik’ tear stained face got farther away, so he reached out with weak arms.

He was falling, through the Earth’s atmosphere, the fire burning his already wounded body. When he hit the sky, his head rolled back, he stared up at the heaven with a silent resignation. The wind whistled past his ears as he fell, holding out his arms toward the heaven, toward Mik. He whimpered, the air stinging his wing stumps.

Lucifer closed his bloody eyes, closing himself off to the clouds that surrounded him. He stared blankly as all his thoughts seemed to fly out of his mind. When he hit the ground, blood shot out of his mouth. He didn’t have the energy to speak much less move. The wet smack of a body hitting the ground next to him assaulted his ears. Asta teleporting down, screaming for him, he couldn’t hear. He didn’t turn toward the sounds, so far away now. Slowly, very slowly, his destroyed eyes closed for the last time.

The sky was clear and calm, That is until God struck the ground with a lightning bolt in rage. It began to rain after that, fierce winds bashing at the trees, rolling the water and whipping around anything caught in the storm.

With a blank facial expression, the baby, having wandered away from the wolves, stared up at the sky. It crawled out of the blanket it had been wrapped in, that the wolves had carried it in. The baby watched as Mik and Luci’s bodies dissolved into the earth, becoming one with it. Meanwhile Maze and Asta had been wandering through the forest while training the young. They soon discovered what God was doing.

The little angel baby crawled away from the area. Scared by the storm, it hid in some bushes. Eyes widened, he watched God reach out with its pus.

God took the earth into its form and began to mold it. After a long time, a man was created that looked an awful lot like the young Beelzebub’s father.

God took the earth into its form and began to mold it. After a long time, a man was created that looked an awful lot like the young Beelzebub’s father.

He’d just met him (LUCIFER SECRET VISIT BY MIKHA’EL AFTER BEEL BIRTH ONLY ON PATREON!)

in the child's excitement he crawled over happily. He stopped short when God took the earth from beside the man and created a female that looked a lot like Lucifer, the baby waddled over after God’s presence was gone.

Adam and his wife took the baby with them once they happened upon him. He cuddled up to them but looked up at the sky with big sad eyes, thumb stuck in his mouth. This did not go unnoticed by the group. Pretty soon as it had been a full year since Lucifer had left.

Only Asta, who survived the rebellion, Surithiel, Paimon, who survived as well, Maze, Raziel and their young, known as larvae or grubs, remained along with a few of the other angels. When they came across the scene, the angels followed them for a time being, they kept track of their every move and hid in the shadows while watching them raise the young boy. The man, called Adam, turned to his wife and sister, Lilith, spying the baby, they picked it up and walked off into the darkness of the forest.

Meanwhile the other angels were still in a fight for survival, their new powers were put to the test every day. One night, it was a night strangled with tension as a strange box appeared in the middle of the camp. The angels went on working as normal, but they could feel something wasn’t right. The box remained there and the few angels left were currently gathered in front of the fire. One of them, who’d begun to grow a dark violet streak in his hair, Lariel, turned to the others. “Brothers, I am unsure about what will happen in the future, but what I do know is that you are all important to me”

He rarely ever spoke since Dummah and Samael had been taken, Balthazar murdered. He was, along with Raziel, the only merangel left. The other two remaining had vanished as soon as the box in the middle of the camp had appeared. The box sat there for hours, emanating a dark blue light. Every angel that dared come near it received a painful electric shock. It stood where it had fallen from the sky, lighting up the darkness around it at night and sucking in the daylight while the angels slept. Lariel grew curious one afternoon, walking over to poke at it with a rock. It was black with brown leather puzzle grooves on every side. It glowed a soft green, blue smoke gently billowing out of it.

He kneeled down in front of it and reaching out, opened the lid. An electric current shot through him, but he ignored it and ripped the lid away.

Asta looked up from petting Maze’ hair who was laying his head in his lap. The redhead had a bloody bandage wrapped around his arm. They had been attacked by beasts during the day and Maze had led them away from the camp. He was suffering burns along his back as well. Burns caused by the sunlight.

“Lariel what are you-?!” Asta shouted but it was too late. An explosion rippled through the area. Voices on the air then entered the minds of each angel. Asta’s eyes went huge as the box whispered to him all the secrets of his destiny, the other angels had had similar experiences. A stream of light poured out from the box sending green sparks flying everywhere; it changed shape, puzzle like extensions on its silver surface. Throngs of creatures crawled out of the container, attacking angels left and right, they were nothing but black torsos, green and grey gangly limbs that waved to and fro.

Atop their shoulders sat tiny white heads, no facial features to be seen, just massive jaws with large gnashing fangs. Lariel gave a shriek when one such creature leaped onto him, it tore at his face and arms, rending his flesh from the bone; he cried and screamed in pain uselessly hitting at it only to have his arm ripped off at the shoulder.
Asta growled, kicking the one running over to him and Maze in the face, he picked Maze up and shouted for Raziel, running through the camp, kicking the creatures out of the way. All around them the few remaining angels outside their tents screams gutted the night like a knife twisting in the stomach of a hapless traveler. Raziel ran over, two newborn angels in his grip, wiggling, sneezing and cooing at the new world filled with terrors they could not yet understand. They had power, but they were too afraid to use it.

Paimon and Suri ran over to Asta and Maze “RUN!” Suri screamed in panic.

Paimon spoke in a calm yet frantic manner “Our powers are being absorbed by these things!”

“I was just about to come over and show you guys the eggs hatched…what the fuck is going on out here?!” Raziel looked around in panic. A bloody hand reached out to the sky as Azrael was torn to shreds, Lariel was half dead already and the other angels lay in pools of their own intestines. Raziel shook his head, holding his and the other merangels sons close.

“Let’s just, go!” Maze barked as Asta, Suri and Paimon ran to the edge of the camp, Raziel kept close to them and followed behind. Gripped tightly, the newly hatched young held in his arms. They escaped the death camp, now its name bestowed quite even more literally than ever before, the strange box left far behind them.

One day, they came across Adam and Lilith and their now six-year-old son, Beelzebub in a terrible argument. “You can and will never be equal to me! You are a woman!” Adam shouted angrily at his wife as she brought up for the millionth time how she wanted to stand on equal ground with him as a person, these notions having come to them both from eating the leaves of the God Tree. Beelzebub hid behind Lilith’s leg. Adam glared at the child and stalked over, kicking him to the ground. “And you, you little shit, get lost!”
“Leave Beelzebub alone you crazy bastard! When it comes to me, that isn’t fair! You should know by now that it’s God’s will that I be just as important as you are!” She shouted this; voice filled with spite. She advanced on him and in a fit of rage her hand shot out to smack him across the face. Shock and hurt burned into his features he called out to God.

“God! I need a wife that won’t behave like some animal in the forests! I am a man and as such I have dominion over the creatures of the wild! Get this, this harlot away from me! Take her bastard son away from me as well! For all it be is some rat we found crawling across the ground as a babe, cursed! Cursed I say unto ye!” He ran into the marsh to get away from Lilith. Away from Beelzebub. Suddenly, God came down in a booming, pulsing, light.
“Adam is correct, thou art not behaving as a wife should and ye have not for the years since thyn birth. As punishment, I banish thee from the Garden of Eden, and sentence thee to birth a thousand of those who have failed me in the past. They will be reborn as what will be known as demons. They will suffer my wrath every five hundred to thousand years with a mass extinction that will rip their lives apart. So is the eternal punishment for failing me!” The angels watched as their bodies slowly changed form with each step that Lilith took.

“If she is to birth a thousand…demons, doesn’t that mean she’s going to give birth to the thousands of us that died building this shit hole?” Raziel asked as he placed a hand on his and Dagiel’s sons shoulders as they stared onward.

“Ama…” his son, Nammu, no older than a human seven-year-old, tugged at his robes. He smiled down at his son and pet his dark brown hair. Nammu hugged his leg and waved as an otter demon came waddling over. Blippu, now an adult and transformed into a demon alongside the death of Lucifer, climbed onto Raziel’s head.

“Yes Raz it does, we as the only survivors will slowly turn into, demons, I don’t know why but I do know as such we must help her to survive long enough to birth all thousand of what were once angels.” Asta said this as Maze held their own infant son on his hip.

“That means that Salsa will return!” Raziel grew excited but then he paused, that also meant Dagiel would return, he looked at Salsa and Dagiel’s son, seeing so much of both of them in his cheerful innocence. He pets Nammu on the head and casts his thoughts out of his own mind.
