Chapter 4 Continued

Chapter 4 Continued

Sep 09, 2018

I woke up bright and early the next morning to go surfing. I threw on a wetsuit and went down to the basement, where the surfboard workshop was. Before my father went crazy we had worked on them together, now there were half finished creation’s just sitting there coated in a thick layer of dust. I grabbed one of my old boards, then went back upstairs and loaded it into my car. After a few minutes, I got to the beach. I lingered at the edge, letting my feet dig into the soft sand and admiring the fantastic view, the sun was just coming up, making the ocean look like it was sparkling. The waves were good today, big, at least ten feet. I took a deep breath and ran into the water, smiling as the cool water rushed over me, a paddled over a few small waves, until I found the one I wanted. I turned around and paddled fast forward, just as the wave was about to cave over I stood up, riding right where it was caving over and out the other end, riding it up. Then I dove into the water. Ahh, I had missed this so much. I thought as I floated in the water. After about an hour, I went back to the house, showered, and chilled, watching Netflix for the rest of the day.

Around ten o'clock, I was getting really bored of sitting around, I ran up to my room and quickly got dressed into something more fitting for a club. Mine as well have some fun, even though I started school tomorrow, but as a vampire, I had more energy, not enough though as to never sleep, I was able to go a day or two without any. After freshening up, I got into my car and headed out. I spotted the building like a mile away with all the lights and music coming from it. I parked my car and then made my way to the club. It was rather large, about four stories. Just as I was about to enter the building a heard a high pitched scream from the alleyway. I sprinted over and gasped at the sight. There were two male vampires and a girl, with beautiful blonde hair that melted into a teal blue color. One of the vampires was sucking her blood out, the other holding her down, a familiar warmth settled over me, and rage boiled in my veins. I raced over, knocking the men down. With my extra vampire strength, I ripped one of the males heads off, then the other, I didn't even think about what I had just done, all my thoughts were on the girl, I dropped to the ground where she was lying unconscious, seeping blood from her neck. I gasped for the second time, it was the girl from the car crash, the one I had saved. Why was she here? I pressed my hand to her neck, there was still a steady pulse, but I got to work with my healing powers. I pressed my hands against her chest, power flowing down my arms and down to her. In a few seconds, the wounds on her neck slowly healed, until there were only a few white lines. After I was done, I found her phone lying on the ground, it was unlocked, I didn't pry and look at all her information, because first of all that would be creepy, and second I didn't want to invade her privacy, it was rude, I just looked to see where she lived so I could bring her home. My eyes widened, she lived with the Vandale's, seriously? I wondered if she was family visiting or something because I knew the Vandale's didn't have kids. I walked back to my car where I had put the girl. I stared at her unconscious self, now that I had time, she was really beautiful, flawless skin, soft pink lips, heart-shaped face, her golden blonde hair was natural, she must have had it dyed before, and the teal ombre made her have a mermaid sort of look, and I remembered it was the same color as her eyes. Warmth flowed through me again, making my chest pang, I shuddered. I put on my seat belt and started the car. After a few minutes, we arrived at the Vandale mansion. I gulped, how was I going to pull this off?
