For Juniper, everything had happened too fast to understand, now that she was resting both her body and mind after such exaustion, she took the time to remember an analyze this past day. Not even a whole day, just these few hours that had turned her life upside down.
She started the day at her house, prepared breakfast for her parents and stayed inside all day while they worked, then she watched her favourite TV show, Program Imaginaria. Until that moment, the day was normal and even boring for Juniper, but that changed when she started to imagine she could imagine, but Juniper didn't care how confusing that sounded like in her head.
She made a small bird, and though it would probably not be something impresive for an old writer, who used to describe and imagine endless stories and settings, Juno was amazed at herself. Even with no colourful resourses, even with no fantasy to read from, she managed to call into existance such a beautiful being, a small blue bird. But that archivement would soon be drowned by her adrenaline.
Once Juniper's parents walked inside her room, she knew she was doomed. There was not a single thing close to a blue beautiful bird where she lived at. Her house was in the middle of a, yes, crowded, yet spacious town in the middle of nowhere. To the North layed the center, pretty abandoned considering it was where most turists went to spend a night to. To the -East, her house and many other rural residencies. To the West, a forbidden place to visit by anyone not authorized, even if Juniper hadn't been told by her parents, she would still have probably guessed that was were Program Imaginaria took place. And finally to the South, her current position, the endless park, which mixed with the forests and wilderness of the edges of the town. In none of these places was there ever recorded a blue bird, and eventualy as Juniper's parent's were surprised to find once they looked out of the window, neither were there giraffes.
Juniper hadn't wasted her imagination in only animals but only an escape plan. The people at Imaginaria really shouldn't continue to detail how each "participant" escaped from police and family encounters, that gave her many ideas. Use her own creations and escape out of a window? Probably the biggest clitché from the show in it's few weeks of airing. Juniper had slid down the giraffe's neck down to it's neck, and once there, almoust af if the animal knew the destination, it headed down South. Juniper was terrified only by the thought of leaving her house, but her fear was flooded by wrath once she heard her parent's screams through the phone while they called the police, or so she assumed. Her ears had been bubbled out of sense by her tears. But big girls don't cry in such vital moments, she would have time to cry later, she thought.
Juniper cried laying in the grass floor, but rejected the so-called "Charlie" when he offered a hug.
When Juno had seen the couple as she rid her elephant,(Her biggest archivement so far) she had immediately recognized them; at least she recognized Claire Jeong. It would have been very odd if she had forgotten her after she had been the star of today's show, but that didn't stop Juniper from being amazed at her colours. Her hair was violet, as it had been described even if Juno's TV did not show colour, straight and long. It covered her right eye, but not in a loose way. Once it reached half the height of her cheek, it was pulled up and behind her ear, being kept in place by a red diamond hair pin, never letting the option of blowing away and leaving the eye uncovered. Juniper felt curious what layed underneath, and specialy freaked out to find it out since she felt she would never know this girl's soul completely if she couldn't see both entrances to her soul.
The male, on the other hand, had been a new discovery. He had never had an episode, but Juniper remembered him from the first time the show aired, when all the, now she knew captured, participants had been presented for an instant. He had presented himself as Charlie, but the show producer had stepped up and presented him as Charlotte Johnson. Probably a paper problem. Now, in more detail and less distance, Juniper could notice how he had scars all over his body. His knees were scratched, probably from falling into concrete. His elbows were red from crawling, and his hands sore and dry from climbing, or at least Juniper imagined.
-How does it feel to be the "most dangerous person on Earth"?- This Charlie asked, in a sarcastic tone.
-Pretty wicked. One day you are the perfect kid, the other you are being looked by the police and resting your head against the cold grass in an almoust abandoned zone of the town.- Juniper answered heavily, like the weight of the world layed against her back.
-So pretty much like being an average Imaginator.- Claire answered immediately though a maniatic laugh before calming down.- I'm sorry, it's just that this is my 4th escape, and each time it get's worse. The producers chose that it was better to sell me off as fast as posible, but thanks to your handmade chaos, both me and Charlie managed to escape almoust unnoticed. And even if we are found, now all the attention will be focused on you.
Juniper noticed by Charlie's eye roll that Claire was not the type of person to keep thoughts to herself. Juniper was not relaxed by this fact, but she was thankful to whoever managed the universe that she was placed in such a lonely place with company. She felt alone, but she at least was not, a good thing to have while in the births of nature was people. And strong people, people who could litteraly summon bombs, were specially apreciated.
-We should start our journey.- Charlie suggested through the awkwardly formed silence.
-But where to?
None of the girls was exited to continue the walk, but both knew it was necesary to survive. Hunters would soon be behind them.
-South. What do you Juniper say about three big ol' horses?
