Once upon a time, there live a little alien.
The little alien love the green color, although he never seen it before.
So how could he love it when he never saw it, you ask?
He doesn't know either. He just know that he really loves the green color.
So he barged into the dining room where the two were having breakfast and told his parents, "Mum, Dad, I'm gonna go out and venture the wide universe to look for the green color!"
Hearing their son loud yell, his dad chocked on his coffee he’s drinking and his mom chocked on her meals she’s having.
"What?!" His parents said at the same time.
He repeat, "I'll be going to venture the wide universe to find the green color!"
Before his parents manage to said a single word, he runs out from the home and jumped on his dad interstellar rocket launcher and manage to turning it on.
His parents were dumbfounded for a second before they hurriedly chasing the little alien to where the interstellar rocket launcher were parked.
Before he manage to launch the rocket, his parents were able to open the interstellar rocket launcher door before he can flies off to the sky.
The little alien protested, "Why did you stop me? I want to see the green color! It’s so unfair!”
In the wake of their child upset words, his parents could only coax him gently. His mom said, "Son, we know you love the green color, and we know you want to venture to the wide universe, but you're too small, too inexperienced, and you’re not ready yet..."
"But I want to see the green color!" The little alien shouts, "Why can’t I never see it? Why can't I find it? I want to see it!"
The little alien is very upset, and he started to sob. His parents feels conflicted.
They looks at each other and with internal conversation they decide to tell the little alien the truth.
"My son, we want to tell you something," his mother said, "but promise us you'll not be upset if you heard this."
The little alien hiccuping between his cries and said, "What is it?"
"You need to promise us first that you won't be sad if you heard it." His father replied.
"I promise," he said, wiping his tears as he stands firmly in front of his parents and making a firm looking face.
His parents sighed, and then, his mom and dad kneeling on the ground to reach the little alien height and strokes his head.
"This is the truth, my son, actually, from the moment you were born, you are..." His dad hesitates to said the last word. His son waited patiently for him to say the last word.
His wife nudged him, wanting him to say it and tell their son what he should know down a long time ago.
He sighed, and finally said with a firm face, "The truth is, you're color blind."
Silence fills the world for a moment.
"So it’s mean you can’t see the green color."
The little alien is still not giving any reaction, so he continue, "And there's more, actually, your skin color is green, mine and your mother skin color is also green, and our whole house and skies and land is also in a different shades of green too! So there’s no need for you to find the green color since the green color is already in front of you and surrounds you, its just that you cannot seen it."
"Oh," the little alien said after a little while, and he continued.
"So it's already there. Boring."
And then the three finally goes back to the house and have a nice brunch together.
The end.
