When I woke up the next morning, I was pretty tired from the dream that I had last night. But one thing came to mind right now, my stuff was still in Brooklyn. I needed to ask Dylan if I could get my stuff from my apartment. When I turned to ask Dylan if I could, I saw that he was already out of bed and had left the room.

There was a note on the nightstand next to me. I took the note off the nightstand and opened the note to read it. " Dear Dawn,

Sorry I left this morning without saying 'good morning.' But I have some errands to do and would be back this evening. Love you.

Love,

Dylan xoxo"

I sighed at the fact I couldn't go back to Brooklyn to get my stuff. I went to the closet which was in the back of the bedroom.

I opened up the closet to pick out an outfit.

The outfit I picked out was a white shirt with a black vest over it, black skirt with black leggings underneath it, white socks and black sneakers. I even put on a black hair band.

Then I looked at myself in the mirror.

Once I was done looking at myself, I went for a walk in the garden.

The garden had many different flowers covering the middle of the lawn outside in the back of the castle. There stood a hedge in the middle of the flower garden. But there was also many different fruits and vegetables in the garden too.

I walked around looking at the different flowers.

I pulled my hair back as I did so.

"Are you enjoying the flowers today?" A voice said.

I looked up and turned around to see a woman standing behind me.

She was a pretty short lady with gray hair and green eyes. She wore a maid's dress that went down to her feet.

Her shoes were worn out too.

" Yes. I am enjoying the flowers. They're real pretty." I say.

" I agree. I been here for many years and not once have I seen them even more beautiful than they are now." She says delighted.

" So.... Um.... Do you know if Dylan has brought my stuff from Brooklyn yet?" I say nervously, not wanting to be rude.

" No. I am afraid not. But I do know he will bring your stuff back later today. So don't worry." She says.

" Oh. I must get back to doing my chores. It was nice talking to you. Bye now." She says before quickly leaving before I could say anything.

I just stood there, thinking.

I noticed out of the corner of my eye move from the flower bed and into the hedge. I walked towards the hedge and stopped just a few feet from it.

" Who's there?" I say, a bit scared.

No reply.

I got scared when no one answered and ran towards the castle.

When I got back inside, I looked out a window to see what it was.

The thing that I saw moved from behind the hedge.

The thing was a small fox like creature with a bushy tail.

It was black with a white tip at the end of its tail. It's ears were totally fox like.

It looked at me from where it stood and then took off again into the woods.

I sighed in relief.

But I was a bit scared in to what it was.

I shook my head and walked back to my room, in totally awe and shock.

But tonight one question still haunted me since I first left the house in Napa, what happened to my mom? And I was about to find out soon enough.
