" Hey. Wake up." The voice said. " HEY. WAKE UP!!!" The voice said again.

I woke up in the middle of the night only to find out it was only a dream. But was it a dream? Or was it real. And I just couldn't seem to remember it.

I sighed.

Dylan slept next to me peacefully.

He had returned home only a few weeks ago so it was now refreshing to have him around again.

I had been thinking about what had happened to me when I first got married to Dylan and what had happened with my mom. Both seem to rattle around in my head for hours as I try to piece together what had happened on both of those days.

I was certain about one thing though, I was in a supernatural world and I was a part of it.

But the questions remained: what was I? And who am I now that I have been changed from a normal girl to a supernatural creature?

Instead of sitting in bed thinking about it, I decided to get a glass of water. Once I found the kitchen, I found a glass and filled it with water.

Once I finished drinking the water, I went back up stairs to bed. On the way there, I was suddenly grabbed by someone. I turned around to see who it was.

It was Dylan.

" Don't freak me out like that." I say to him upset.

" Sorry. I got worried. Since you're not in bed. I thought you might have ran away." He said a bit sadly.

I put my right hand on his check.

" I would never leave you. You are worth more to me by my side than dead." I say.

" Thank you, Dawn. For saying that." He says smiling a little.

" Dylan. Can I ask you something?" I say.

"Sure. What is it?" He says.

" What am I?" I say.

" what do you mean?" He says seriously.

" What I mean is that, did something happen to me while I was out cold on our wedding day?" I say frowning.

" Dawn. Don't worry about that for now. I will tell you, promise." He says.

" Dylan, please tell me. I want to know now. I can't bear not knowing what I am." I say.

I started to cry.

Dylan reached out to hug me but I pushed him away.

" Please just leave me alone." I say.

Dylan just nods his head and just leaves me there to cry.

I cried for a good long time.

But then I heard a noise coming from a room down the hallway.

I followed the noise in which it was coming from.

When I reached the door, I heard two people talking.

" She doesn't know what she is." One of the voices says.

" He keeps it a secret from her so she would feel more safe." The second voice said.

" yeah I know that. But still, why though. It's not like she is going to say anything to people." The first voice says.

" An angel who isn't even aware of her own power. What a shame." The second voice says.

I mistakenly open the door when the two men who were talking saw me.

" Well. What do we have here?" The first guy says licking his lips.

" Looks like a little mouse has listened to something she wasn't supposed to hear yet." The second guy says.

They come towards me.

But before they could get me, I ran out of the room and down the hallway.

After awhile of being chased, I was backed into a corner.

" Looks like we got you now." The first guy says.

I was scared.

I didn't know what to do now.

But before anything happened, a figure appeared.

The figure grabbed both of the guys and dragged them down the hallway and into a shadow.

I never saw them again.

I screamed.

Then I fainted, once again did I see darkness and the girl from my dreams.
