Harry was eating dinner while everyone was abuzz with news about Professor Snape.
"I never thought he look so weird. I mean, he actually looks like he knew what washing your hair was!" One of Gryffindors said. Hermione rolled her eyes. Harry wished Ron were here. Coming back was optional so Ron had of course said no. Hermione sighed at Harry, who only picked at his meal.
"If you had just told him you were repeating the year instead of letting him find out when it was to late, he'd be here." She said, reading Harry's mind. In truth, Harry did plan on telling Ron. But after the war, after Fred, he couldn't even look at Ron. He felt like it was his fault. He felt that way about the whole war, but the Weasley's hit him the hardest because they were his closest form of family after Sirius. There had even been talk of adopting him after his godfather passed away. Harry thought back to that night

He'd been wandering around the house cause he couldn't sleep. Arthur and Molly Weasley's bedroom door was cracked open. They were whispering loudly so Harry stopped to listen.
"Arthur, you know the poor boy has been through so much. I think it's the least we could do." Molly said. Arthur sighed. "I know. And I think it's a great idea, but we don't have to money. We barely have the room. Molly, listen to me. Even if we could adopt the boy, we still don't know if he'd want us to." "Then we'll ask him. We'll cast an expansion spell on Ron's room and turn it into two to give him his own room. I know we're tight on money but we can't just leave him out on his own." She pleaded. A moment of silence came. Arthur finally gave in. "Alright, fine but- we wait until after the war is over to ask him. Agreed?" Molly giggled a little "Agreed. Thank you." Harry smiled to himself, so very excited.

Harry smiled sadly at the memory. The next moment, his barely touched plate of food disappeared and turned into delectable sweets. Harry smiled again, a little brighter, and enjoyed himself.
"So what'd you think Harry? Seamus asked. "About Snape's new look. He's got to be younger than us now. Did you even think that guy could have been so baby faced?" He laughed cruelly. Harry shook his head. "No, and let's remember that none of us would know if you hadn't been so desperate to be paired with Neville." And few kid's snickered. Seasum turned red.
"So what. I thought it would be fun." Dean smirked. "No, you just wanted to flirt with him" he teased. Seamus turned even brighter and stuck his nose up. "Is that so bad?" "Considering he's straight, yes." Dean laughed. Seamus just pouted. "Bi." He muttered. "Whatever. You're just mad that I broke up with you." He pointed causing a few people to loose it in howls of laughter as Dean turned red.
Dean sighed. "Back on the point though, can I just say something really gross." Seamus eyed him playfully. "Go on. You'll say it anyways.
Dean hesitated and looked back to Snapes empty chair. "Young Professor Snape is kind cute. In a non-sexual way." People gasped. "What!? He is! Have you seen him. He looks like a freaking cinnamon roll!"
Even Harry snickered at that. "Yeah, but he acts as rotten, stale, and gross as his potion ingredients." The table, except for Harry, nodded in agreement to the random person who said that.
They all went on to talk about how horrid Snape was, Harry heard a few Slytherin like conversations of revenge, but for the most part he was lost in thought about cinnamon roll Snape.
