"Okay. I'll have a house elf deliver your stuff to Professor Snape's housings. He will show you there and where you'll sleep for the night. And one more thing before you go Potter." She had been shoeing them out the door as she spoke but stopped them just before they left. "Yes, professor?" He asked. She smiled smally. "Don't let me catch you out after hours again. The only reason you're not getting points taken away is because there are hardly any left after your potions class today. Good night. Oh and don't worry, he can't take any more points any from Gryffindor house for a while." She said before waving her hand for them to leave.
Alone she glared at the portrait and sighed as the old man chuckled.
Walking down the halls in silence, Harry stayed behind Snape awkwardly. He dared not speak. He was so confused and nervous. He had no clue how to handle this.
Snape could tell how Harry was feeling and smirked. This was a good thing in his mind. Helped him keep the upper hand.
The walk was rather lengthy. Neither spoke the whole time. Eventually though, they reached Snape's housings. It was rather large. Harry noted the Slytherin design. The floors were a brown carpet. The sofa and chairs were black along with the black walls that looked alone like the ones in the ministry. There was a fireplace made of the same brick with a few potions on top. There was a hallway and a kitchen with a table. The dark green marble countertops were so clean, it was as if they were never used. The wooden table too. Everything looked so clean.
A house elf appeared with a pop. "Where does Professor Snape want Mr. Potter's things?" Snape sighed. "In the guest room." The elf nodded with a pop and a low thud told Harry that his stuff was there. "Go. Sort your things Potter. Second door on your right." Harry nodded and turned to the door in silence.
Snape, sat down opened his cabinet to our some brandy to find all his alcohol gone. He groaned. "Of course." He said, opting for coffee in its place.
Harry was in his new room, sorting his things. So many questions racing through his head. When he was finally done sorting, he sighed. He knew what he had to do walked into the living room.
Seeing Snape on the couch he sat in a chair to the Professors right. They both started into the fireplace for a moment.
"Professor-" "Save it Potter. I'm not going to answer your questions." Snape cut him off. "But Sir-" "I said save it." Harry growled.
Harry eyed Snape. "No." He said. Snape finally looked at him, surprised to see all nervousness gone from Potter. In fact, he looked a little irritated.
"I will not, save it, Sir. I have questions. I've had questions ever since you turned up alive after I watched you fucking die." Harry emphasized. "Now considering the deal and this whole situation, this least you can do is answer the ones about what is going on now." He pointed out.
Snape was a little shocked. Instead of blowing up like a stupid Gryffindor, Harry hadn't raised his voice once, though the cursing was uncalled for. He contemplated Harry a moment before sighing. Go get some coffee, you look horrible. Then I will tell you. He said. Harry was surprised, but nodded and went off into the kitchen.
Half milk, Half sugar and a little bit of coffee. Is the easiest way to describe how Harry liked his coffee, though he still wasn't a big fan of the drink.
Snape smirked at the cup before taking a sip of his pure coffee. No sugar or anything. Just, coffee.
Harry sat in expectation as he took a sip from his warm cup. Snape sighed. "Right then. I'm 13 years old right now. I'll be taking a potion once a week that will age me a year. I've been told that It may only bring me up a 2 or three years because of how badly it'll affect my magic. If my magic is not normal after a week, they'll make me stop taking it. If I keep taking the potion it could take my magic away completely. Are those the answers you're looking for? " Snape asked, really wanting this to be over.
"What if you don't go back to your normal age?" He asked. "It will have to be put on record and I'd legally be that age starting from then on." Harry nodded and sipped his coffee again. This was a lot to take in.
He had already come to terms about the fact that he'd have to guard Professor Snape until he could handle himself. He'd be staying here all year anyways because of the trouble of moving him. Still, everything seemed to be happening so fast, it was hard to keep up. Taking the last sip of his coffee he looked down at his empty cup. Trelawny's teacup gibberish came floating through his brain. 'A future where I die, check. Hmm, maybe I should go back one of these days. Just for old times sake.' He smirked in amusement his thoughts while staring at his cup.
Snape just wanted to shower and sleep. After everything today, he really needed to rest. His cup had long been empty as he stared into the fireplace.
Harry stood up and looked down at the 13 year old Professor. His black hair was so poofy looking. Without thinking, he reached out a hand. Just then Snape looked up.
"Just what do you think you're doing Potter?" The professor snapped
Harry froze and a nice shade of red dusted his cheeks as he realized what he'd been doing. He turn his hand palm up and averted his gaze to anywhere else. "I, was just grabbing your cup." He said. Snape eyed him, but silently put his empty cup in the boy's hand.
Harry coughed, sort of, and quickly made his way to the kitchen.
