Harry left his room to see Snape still wasn't up. A quick tempus and he realized there wasn't much time left. Certainly not enough to go up to the Great Hall and back down to his class to make it on time. Come to think about it, it was quite rare to see Professor Snape at breakfast during the school week. Did he just skip?
Deciding that that wouldn't do, Harry opened to fridge. Glad to see it was fully stocked. He pulled out some eggs, spinach, turkey meat, and a few other things as well as spices. All set, Harry mixed together everything as he needed to and started making some omelets. Humming a small tune as he worked
Snape growled at his tempus spell. He HATED mornings. Even more so that he was gonna miss breakfast again. 'Potter seems like the type to never miss any meal. Had he just went without me? Wouldn't be to surprising.' Just then, Snape caught a whiff of something tasty. He got dress quickly and followed the smell.
The Professor was genuinely surprised to see Potter in the kitchen humming. There was a small smile on the boy's lips. What was he making?
Snape watched Harry flip an omelette just out of the pan as if it were nothing and he went back to cooking it. 'Okay then.' He thought, making his way to the kitchen table.
He sat down and watched the boy work. Harry was flipping another omelette when he caught the Professor out of the corner of his eye. He jumped, causing the omelette to land on his head. Snape snickered at the sight as Harry stood there for a moment. Bright red with an omelette on his head.
He quickly threw the omelette away and turned to the other one he was cooking seeing that he had time he grabbed one of the black porcelain plates in front of the professor and ran back to slip the cooking omelette on top another plate.
After turning the stove off and putting everything away, Harry sat down to eat his omelette.
He'd originally made two each. But he kinda messed up on one of his. Snape had already devoured one of his omelettes. He looked up and the boy who ate his quietly. "So, explain to me how you barely manage to pass potions with a high enough grade, but can cook like this?" He said attempting to compliment the boy.
Harry picked up on it and nodded. A light blush dusted his cheeks. "Well, I um... I don't know. I've been cooking since I was 3 so I guess, I've picked up more tricks in a kitchen." He said, stumbling over his words. He wasn't used to compliments on his cooking. There were only 3 other people who even knew he could cook and they weren't exactly the complimenting type.
Snape was half way through his second omelette. He looked up and Harry. "As if anyone would make or let a 3 year old cook." He said. Harry jumped, realizing his slip. "Haha. Right. I guess that's I may have exaggerated quite a bit." He laughed nervously then awkwardly turned back to his meal.
When they were both done he cast a quick tempus. They had just enough time to make it to class. Snape saw this and nodded. "You can leave your bag you know." He said as Harry picked up his bag. The boy just shrugged and followed his 13 year old teacher to class.
His first class was a bunch on 1st years. Snape groaned as the whole class stared. Harry, just positioned himself out of the way. Close enough to be able to jump into action, but out of the way he'd be able to help if need be.
"Yes. I look younger. You are to not let this distract you. I am still your teacher. Now, can anybody tell me......"
Harry watched the man work. Somehow, all of these student's still seemed pretty terrified of him. Understandable, but still. Harry forced back a smile at the thought of how they were terrified of a cinnamon roll.
The morning passed by rather uneventfully. Snape had a free period just before lunch which he spent grading papers. Safe in his office, he told Harry to go eat lunch. Harry opened his mouth to argue. Just then his stomach growled, cutting off anything he'd say about not being hungry. Snape smirked at this and shoed the boy away.

Harry sat down at lunch next to Hermione.
"So, where have you been moved?" She asked. "I've been tasked with guarding Professor Snape. Something about being the only one to not say anything against him or something." He sighed. Hermione peaked up from her book. "Not to fun huh?" "Yes Hermione, as if it would be. 13 or not, he's still Snape." Hermione raised an eyebrow at her friend. "True. But how do you feel exactly about Snape?" Harry just shrugged and picked at his food. "You have potions next right?" Hermione nodded, taking a bite if her fruit. "Okay. I'll just walk back with you."
Harry barely ate anything, but he didn't really feel like eating anyways. He just tucked his hands in his pockets and followed Hermione out.
Hermione watched as Harry made his way to the front of the class and knocked on Professor Snape's office door. Snape came out and Harry put an apple in his hand before going off to the side. Snape eyed the boy and the apple, but took a bite out of it anyways as he waited for the rest of the class to show.
This was a group class with Slytherin and Gryffindor. Harry saw shocked faces staring at him and Snape. Those he just ignored. It was the ones with smiles on them he watched carefully. Twice he saw a certain Gryffindor reach into his bag. Harry knew that Seamus held a grudge against Snape. The third time, he saw a black rock in the boy's hand. The room went black.
"Shit!" Harry said a loud. "Clearmento." He yelled, running toward Snape. Sure enough, He was caught with whatever was thrown at Snape. He turned to glare down his friend whose face turned full of fear.
"Mr.Finnigan! You'll do well to visit Headmistress McGonagall's office. Right, Now." Snape said, fuming. "Now, does anyone else want to try their luck? No? Good! Potter! You'll go down to the hospital wing. Get that thing removed." He said. Harry looked at his arm where it hit. Creeping Gloop. He was suddenly aware of the burning sensation that filled his forearm where the gloop had already started crawl upward.
He ignored it. "But sir." He started to argue. Snape was not in the mood however. "Potter, either you can go have it removed gently, or I'll do it right here and now." Fear shot through Harry's features quickly. "Uh... I get it. I'll go. I'll be quick." He said, running off.
Snape watched him curiously. His threat should've made him react that strongly. Oh well. Back to class.
