Harry stood outside the Great Hall and sighed. This was his last obstacle for the day. Then he could relax.
He opened the door and was met by several people staring. He sat in his normal spot. Seamus wouldn't make eye contact with him. After a good 15 minutes Harry had been done fed up.
He put his fork down on the table and sighed. "Look, guys. Yes, I have been set to guard Professor Snape until he returns to normal. Yes, I am going to take my assignment seriously. Just because you hate him and I'm your friend doesn't mean I'm going to let you get away with anything I can prevent. No argument. So can we please just stop with the silence? It's not going to get anybody anywhere." He said. Everyone seemed surprised. Speaking out like that wasn't a normal Harry Potter thing to do.
Seamus looked up at his friend. "Yeah, sorry Harry. I didn't mean to hit you with that. I probably shouldn't have thrown it at all to be honest, I was angry." He said awkwardly. Harry nodded. "Yeah, I get it. Hurt like a bitch though." "Harry!" Hermione scolded. Harry just chuckled.
Seamus seemed in thought though "Yeah. How come you didn't come to the hospital wing after that?" He asked. "Oh! Um. I did." He lied. Seamus shook his head. "No. I went there to avoid the Headmistress and stayed there until class was over." Harry chuckled nervously. "I went in between classes, so you must have missed me." Seamus just nodded his head, but Hermione wasn't buying it. She just eyed her friend as he avoided her potent gaze.
Interestingly enough, Hermione's wasn't the only unbelieving gaze that had rested itself on Harry.
Dinner got easier after that. Everybody seemed to relax. They talked about their day and, of course, about Snape. Harry secretly hoped that this would die down soon. All people talked about were negative things about it and the Professor. People from the Ravenclaw table weren't all that happy with Harry either. He'd look up to see several of them staring daggers at him. He just rolled his eyes of course. After everything he's gone through, a couple of 3rd year Ravenclaws weren't exactly the most intimidating. He's eyes then drifted over to Snape, who had been staring at him.
They locked gazes for a moment before both of them broke the eye contact and refused to move their sights from their plates until dessert.
Harry looked at the steaming pie in front of him and eagerly served himself up a peice. as well as some cake and a few macaroons. Harry finished his plate quickly. Without even noticing it, he'd finished long before anyone else. He decided to pocket a few spare pieces of candy a go for a walk.

The quiet halls were relaxing. Harry silently walked through the halls, each step echoing ever so slightly. A cool breeze drifted in through an open window. Harry looked at it and took in a deep and relaxing breath. The crisp air felt nice in his lungs. He walked on a bit more. He didn't have a place to be or a destine to worry about. No one was trying to kill him and everything just seemed at peace. He sighed and realized he could finally relax.
He almost cracked a smile when he heard several pairs of footsteps. He turned to see who it was when. "Petrificus totalus!" He couldn't move. Dark figures moved around him. 'Shit. I let my guard down.' He scolded himself.
One of the figure let out a cruel laugh that echoed throughout the otherwise empty hall. "Harry Potter. For someone who killed you-know-who, you're not all that powerful." A somewhat familiar voice said. Who was that?
As the figure walked around Harry saw a several little flashes out of the corner if his eye, giving away the culprit. "Seriously?" He asked with a deadpan look.
"How can he talk?!" A diffrent voice entirely asked. "He must not have cast it right." A third boy said. "I casted it just fine. Besides it doesn't matter, he can't move." The rainbow boy snaped. "Woah. Cool it dude. We're here for him remember." And rainbow boy's crule look turned toward Harry and melted into a sickening grin. "You're right. Let's get him."

They continued to kick and punch Harry until dinner was over. "Oh shit! We gotta go dude!" "Yeah!" All three then bolted off, leaving Harry a gasping and groaning mess.
The spell wore off the second they left the area, so Harry was free to force himself to stand. He stumbbled into the nearest bathroom, glad to see it was empty. He cast a locking charm on the door and collapsed. He knew the damage. He'd felt both of his ribs crack as well and a few other bones break. He knew he was dealing with internal bleeding and his face was covered in blood.
The pain swelling within him, he started to become to much. Still, he push through and started to slowly but surly cast healing spell after healing spell.

Once he was done, Harry just sat there for a moment. 'Ha. So this is how it's gonna be for the rest of the year?.... Just as well. I thought I could actually relax here, but I guess this just proves that I can't. I shouldn't be allowed that after everything I- I deserve this pain.' He thinks to himself as tears well up in his eyes.
Harry realizes that his nose is bleeding and he quickly takes care of it before he leaves. Anoyed that his robes are now covered in blood, he unlocks the room and leaves. "Acio Map." He mumbles. Next moment, he had the map in his hands.
Making sure no one was around he whispers the oath. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Harry begins his search for Snape. He was in their room. Okay.
"Mischief Managed" he whispered before making off toward Snape. Dinner was over and most people were in their dorms or the library. No, Harry was not looking forward to the lecture he was going to get from Snape.
