It was already October and usually the school wouldn't accept any new students but they decided to let this one pass.

Leading the new student,  ".... and this is where most of your magic classes will be held!" Phoenix mentioned.
"Thanks Phoenix. I'll try to remember everything." James added.

Then after the tour both Phoenix and James went outside to eat their lunch. On their way, they heard other students talking about a battle going on. Other students were heading towards the place the battle was occuring; including Phoenix and James.

Flashes of flame and water particles were firing at each opponent. Phoenix stepped up.

"Stop this battle this instance!" she declared.

Phoenix's golden-orange hair flowing through the wind. The two people, who were battling, looked up at her and smirked. They were about to attack her but then James jumped in and blocked the upcoming attack from the flame-type magician.

"I knew you'd do that." James mentioned.

The two young magicians stepped back. He smirked, the water magician declared:

"I see you're capable of reading minds and manipulating the flow of mana. But it seems you can't do proper attacks."

They attacked but instead using mana they just used martial arts. James was completely defenseless. When James was about to get hit, a barrier of lightning protected him and a boy with silver eye and black hair showed up. He was wearing the school uniform.

"Hey let me in the fun. Won't you?" he asked.
