I heard a scream. I turned around Nova was gone, "NOVA?! NOVA WHERE ARE YOU!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked down the mountain and saw a body, Novas. I jumped in my car and drove home sobbing I'm surprised I didn't end up in a car crash because I couldn't see with all the tears streaming down my face. I ran inside my house went up to my room closed my door and sat against my door crying my eyes out. I heard my parents shouting, I opened my door quietly and sat at the top of my stairs listening to my parents shout, "HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!?" Katie (Alaska's mum) shouted. "I DIDN'T MEAN TO HE JUST KILLED HER!!" Jack (Alaska's dad) shouted. Were they talking about my Nova? I ran up the stairs and I heard my stairs creak. Oh no... "ALASKA!!" Katie shouted. I burst into tears.
"DON'T EAVESDROP YOU BRAT!" she shouted again. I ran into my room closed my door and I fell asleep.

7:00 am 3rd December 

I woke up, got dressed into a pair of jeans from TopShop and a jumper from Zara I got my dog in his harness and attached the lead to him and I got in my 1991 Nissan Figaro and drove to Nova's house. I parked my car and held my dog in my arms and knocked on the door, "Oh morning Alaska..." Nova's mum said yawning
"Morning... I ummm wanted to see Nova's room... To maybe take some of the pictures of us."
"Yes, of course, Alaska come in!" Nova's mum said trying to keep a happy face
I walked upstairs and walked into Nova's old room, I held my dog tightly but gently his fur going up my nose. I looked around Nova's room and sat on her bed. I saw a notebook and I picked it up. It said:

   Nova's Diary Keep Out.

What!! Nova had a diary?! I turned the page and started to read more.
