50 years ago there was a war between humans and elementals. Elementals are unfinished humans that are able to control one of the 4 elements of the earth. The reason for the war is fear. Humans fear elementals because they are unnatural, and elementals fear humans because if an elemental is an unfinished human, then how strong would a finished human be?

No one would know, because humans have been around for so long, they loose parts of themselves throughout the years. There are no perfect humans left.

In order to prevent another war between the two creatures most humans are oblivious to the existence of elementals. This excludes politicians and other important figures. Elementals live among us and most don't use their abilities throughout the course of their lives once.

All countries have excepted the existence of elementals. All but one. Russia. Elementals are not natural, so why do they exist? They should be eliminated. So experiments have been conducted under the Russian government to find the weakness for all elementals.

These experiments have been around for 40 years, yet none of them succeeded, but biologists won't give up, because their next test subject would be successful, they are sure.

Of course taking a child from their mother and using it for cruel experiments is immoral, but what could they do? Sacrifices need to be made.

So a young boy is picked out from the Brashey family. Both parents are water elementals, elementals that have a magnetic pull to water, so the child is definitely water.

The child is placed in isolation, where the only people he would ever communicate with are scientists and staff members (guards, maids and the doctor).

Now you are most likely wondering why scientists are so sure this experiment would succeed, well, the reason is simple. The boy is from a wealthy family, isn't underfed and had enough love throughout his 5 year life back at his home.

There is only one problem with this experiment. If the boy was to get out of the lab, he would become a man made monster.
