CLICK
The scissors sound as the boy lets out another scream. There are bloody tools on the tale, and the chair is covered in blood as well. There are tears coming from the blindfold on the boy, and a smile creeping over the scientist as he clicks the scissors again.
The younger scientist does not seem to be enjoying himself as much though. You'd think that a boy kept in an environment like this would be used to torture, but no. Because pain is something unnatural, it hurts for everyone, the only difference with everyone and this child is that he can endure it for longer.
"Well their lungs don't seem very strong, do you think we should try burning him? I think the effect may be very interesting" says the older scientist to the younger one
"Elder, please, you're going to kill him if this keeps up" the younger says.
"We need to take risks, my boy" the elder replies.
An uncomfortable look crosses the younger scientists face, but evidently it is not his place to object.
"Wow, he's resistant to fire! Of course not completely but his skinn has a sort of thin cover. It's amazing, brilliant! Who could have ever made a creature like this!" the older scientist exclaims.
The boy has a burnt hand and has seemed to lost his voice, but none of that matters, what the scientists are doing here is going to save humanity!
"Well, this might be all we can do" says the older scientist, disappointed "We have tried everything! Everything! There HAS to be a weakness, we just need to think more, right Jake? We will not give up, for the people, of course"
Jake, the younger scientist unstrapes the boy from the seat and brings him to the door. There is a niece already there ready to take the boy to the doctor. This routine is very well practiced, it seems, because the boy does not loose any blood on the way.
As he is played down at another bare room with no windows and few furniture a nice looking man looks down at him, his glasses sliding down his nose, and says
"Hi, Jack. How are we today?"
