Ken looked like he had seen a ghost, while the guy was smiling back at someone he didn't expect to see. Even if the guy wasn't wearing any makeup Ken could still see that it was the same guy who tried to pick him up at the bar. He was quite good looking when Ken got a second look, he had broad shoulders his sharp jawline that nicely framed his face. He had long eyelashes and the same confidence in his eyes.
-What's that?
-Oh, I made some stew… if you don't mind, you could have it…
-Thanks, did you make this yourself?
Ken handed over the stew.
-… I grew up in a farm, I helped out with most of the things including cooking...
-Why don't you come in, I insist!
Before Ken could get a chance to answer he was already pulled into the apartment.
They were at the living room and the guy had served them tea, Ken couldn't help but look around. They lived in the same apartment but it still felt like a total different place. Everything seemed to been thoughtfully placed, and the bold colors made the room feel lively, his fashionscene was really outgoing, just like him.
-Hahaha, to think we would be neighbors, the world sure is small! My name is James, but everyone at the bar calls me Jeff, haha, there's actually a funny story behind it... anyway, I dont mind you calling me Jeff as well.
-Hahaha… Yeah… I'm Kenny but people call me Ken...
The sillence started to feel thicker as Ken stzrted to drink some of the tea, but Jeff started to look upset, knowing what Ken had in mind.
-Oh, come on! I don't hit on people who are already taken.
-What do you mean by that…?
-I mean that you're dating Will, right?
-What!? No way!!NO! We are definitely NOT dating!
