The next morning and my alarm went off. Have gotten almost no sleep because of last nights incident I still felt completely tried. With almost no energy I tried to press the snooze button but after a few attempts I gave up and turn the alarm off. Nate was still asleep, he didn't need to get up early because he takes night classes.
After a few minutes I headed to the bathroom. I turned on a hot shower, and got it. Stupid Nate keeping me up all night, why can't he be more responsible? Now I'm late to class again. I hurried up and then I proceeded to dry myself and then get dressed. Then I tried to brush my teeth but there's was no toothpaste left. I need to stop by the store later today but right now I have no time to lose. I began to comb my hair. Looking into the mirror I could see the total lack of motivation on face to get through the day.
I looked at my clock, I was running really late for my first class again. I hurried and grabbed my backpack and filled it with snacks before walking out the door. I closed the door to my door and proceeded to walk to the University.
Once I got there the halls were empty, but it wasn't unusual, it's always like this during this time of the year. Most students were in class. In some classes I could hear the professor's giving lectures mean while each student tried to write everything down. All I could hear from them were their pens quickly scribbling on their notebooks.
My class had already begun about thirty five minutes ago, there wasn't any point going in this late. I decided to ditch the lecture and head to the music room. Students are welcomed to play and practice instruments there but not a lot students used it. The instruments were old, most were out of tune. I picked up a violin and bow but it didn't make a sound. The bow needed rosin, a small block of Amber that is rubbed on the bow to allow it to make sound when it's stroked on the violin. There was only one piece of rosin but it was all crumbled. I placed back the violin and grabbed a guitar instead. It was out of tune. Once I tuned it, I played a few chords.
Time passes quickly and before I knew it I had missed my second class. I loved playing with instruments so much that I wanted to have a career in music but my father said it was a waste of time. He wants me to pursue a career in science instead. I tried to convince him that wasn't what I wanted but it was no use, he's stubborn. I placed guitar on one the stands and then I walked over to the grand piano. I began to play Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart, it's a very energetic song but I always lack putting in the energy. After an hour, I decided I had played enough. I left the University and headed back to my dorm.
