This book is about a girl who’s name is Piper, she is extremely unique, for she can see demons. The demons want to be able to drink her blood because it is said that if they do, then they will have eternal life. but she has a friend who’s name is Alex, whom she grew up with. They are both really close and she was needing a guard to protect her from the demons so he volunteered to stay by her side. Alex is a half demon and is visible to the human eye but he has no intention of hurting piper. Piper has no idea about what he is capable of or what his family history is.
