I came home late. I don't know if I can call it "home" maybe a just place for refuge.

My parents are separate but not legally. My Mom is working in a private company as Operation Manager while my Dad works in a bank. I have a little sister her name is Juliana (but she wanted to be called Julie) she's 10 years old.

I remember the day when my Dad left. I was 12 years old back then.  He said he needs to speak to me man to man. I was a kid so I really don't know what does that mean I thought he was going to let me do the "Man" job in our house like cleaning the backyard, reading papers while drinking coffee, driving, and so on. But he pulled me in my room. I sat in the bed while he's kneeling. I feel a sudden pain in my heart. I feel nervous. I want to go out of my room immediately. I remember rumors, rumors which my father is seeing someone new and my mother is dating her boss.

Even as a kid I know what will going to happen. I saw this alot on TV. I started crying and my Dad hugged me.

He said "When you grow up you will know. I love your Mom, You, and Julie so much..."

"Then what is the meaning of this?" I whisper trying to calm myself from crying

"You know son, love is the most powerful thing on earth and sometimes that power loses its power." Dad said

Puzzled I answer "So what do you mean? Love is now gone?" I begun crying

"Love will never fade. My love for the 3 of you was, is, and will always be the same." Dad said. He kissed me in the forehead and said "For now I want you to take care of Julie. Mom will take care of you." he said.

"So how about you?" I asked

"I'll take care of Mom" He said with a smile.

I know he's lying. I know.

The next morning when I woke up I saw Mom and Julie in the table. I know he's gone.

Mom didn't seem to care and Julie do not know what's happening; she's too young.

My Dad left us.
