(Dylan's POV)
I was sleeping peacefully in the arms of my mate Hunter when all of a sudden a high pitched scream echoes through the house. Hunter and I jolted upright, looking at each other before flying up the stairs to the second floor. The twins were downstairs sitting on the couch watching TV looking just as confused as we were.
"What happened? What's wrong?" I asked as everyone else just shrugged their shoulders.
Suddenly Aiden's door swings open to reveal a terrified Jayden with only a large shirt on.
He ran down the stairs and stood behind me, breathing heavily.
"Jayden, what's the matter?" Aiden asked as he walked down the stairs, looking confused too.
"Th-there's a spider!" He cried, pointing upstairs to the room.
I sighed and calmly walked with Jayden back up the stairs.
I walked into the bedroom and looked around as Jayden held onto me for dear life.
"Jayden, where's the spider?" I asked as he peeked his head out from behind my arm and pointed to the bed.
I nodded and walked over to the bed, lifting the covers to reveal the tiniest spider I had ever seen in my life.
I rolled my eyes and squished it with my finger before wiping off the nastiness off the bed.
"Ew." Jayden mumbled with a grossed out face.
He then scampered over to the squished bug on the bed before putting his hands on his hips, looking confused.
"I swear it was bigger than that..."
"I need coffee..." I mumbled, pinching the bridge of my nose before heading back downstairs now that the drama was over with.

(Jayden's POV)
I held onto Aiden tiredly as I yawned, feeling sleepy again.
"You can't fall asleep again baby. Come on, let's go get food." He suggested as he peppered my face with butterfly kisses.
I groaned and rubbed my eyes but agreed anyway, I was a bit hungry. He led me to a seat before making me a bowl of cereal.
Suddenly a pang of pain shot through my chest. It did it again. And again. And again.
By now it was in sync with my racing heartbeat that pounded away in my chest.
I abruptly stood up before running straight to the bathroom, locking myself inside.
"Jayden? What's wrong?"
I held my chest as I tried to breath evenly though it was labored. My vision began to blur as I cried out.
My chest then started to burn as if someone was pouring lava onto my chest.
I screamed in pain as I ripped open my shirt seeing strange blue symbols appearing on my body.
I looked down at my hands to see razor sharp black claws instead of normal finger nails.
No! Not again!
I slammed open the door, making Aiden jump back, before running straight into the woods.
I had to get out of here before I hurt anyone again. I would never live with myself if I hurt another person that I care about.
Tears pricked at my now glowing red eyes as I continued running. I could smell Aiden and everyone else in their wolf forms as they chased after me.
Stay back! Stay away from me! I'll only hurt you! Please!!
I felt that pain in my chest again except this time it was worse. I couldn't go on any more. I writhed in pain on the ground, trying to stop something that was inevitable.
Aiden and the others soon caught up to me, watching as tears fell from my face. Aiden shifted back into a human and ran up to me, telling the others to hold me down.
I curled up in a ball and hugged myself, trying to contain myself. Aiden went to touch me but someone slapped his hand away.
"You can't touch him. For some reason he's going through some type of change. I don't know what yet but we need to take him somewhere he will be safe. We don't know if he'll lash out or not." Alex informed.
"We have to take him to the safe room, that's the only place we have that can keep him away from the public eye where he won't hurt anyone." He added.
Aiden reluctantly nodded, knowing we had no other choice.
"Fine, back up, I'll move him." He said before picking me up and carrying me on his back.
(Aiden's POV)
We finally got to the safe room after running straight there.
We walked inside the small, concrete building that had only one door. One way in, one way out. We had this building on hand for extreme emergencies only.
When you first entered the building, there was a stairwell leading straight underground. It was more of a bomb shelter but again, only for extreme emergencies.
Lately, we used it for pups who couldn't control their shift and needed help staying calm and whatnot. I guess in this case, it was Jay's turn to get a hold on his shift, whatever he was shifting into.
