(Aiden's POV)
It was the next day. I spent the night with Jayden, making sure he was comfortable.
In the safe room were four individual cells that look more like jail cells. There were normal doors but had bars over the windows instead of glass.
There were beds and bathrooms inside each room but that was it. We had the room modified where we could still see inside the rooms. It was more of a security bunker than a safe room.
I sighed as I watched my baby sleep. His teeth were chattering a little and he was shivering. I couldn't tell if that was because of the transformation he had just went through or if it was the temperature of the room. The only change we could visibly see was the black horns he had spouting out of his head and black wings.
I quietly walked into the room, covering him in a thick fluffy blanket before walking out of the room again.
Alex and Dylan walked into the room a second later.
"Hey." I said quietly. Dylan smiled and waved.
"How's he doing?" He asked as he looked at the surveillance screen.
"Well I'm still not sure what he is or when he will stop changing but from what I've gathered he's some type of demon. He has already grown wings and has horns. Alex could you take a look at him please?" I asked as I looked over at Alex who was deep in thought.
"Yeah, bring him up but try not to wake him." He said before exiting the room.
(Alex's POV)
I walked out of the control room as I tried to think of what Jayden could possibly turn into. I kept coming up with the same conclusion which was a demon but those were incredibly rare and wouldn't fit his transformation. If he's already grown wings and horns like Aiden said then he might not be a demon but something else.
I waited a couple seconds before gently lifting Jayden from where he was sleeping on the bed before setting him on a nearby couch. I then removed the blanket along with his shirt earning a growl of disapproval from Aiden.
"Calm down, it's just his shirt. To do that I need to examine his body, I'm not a pervert like someone I know." I said as I gave him a blank stare.
He rolled his eyes before folding his arms over his chest. I then continued what I was doing by removing his pants making Aiden wince a little but kept his composure and said nothing.
I held his face in my hands as I checked his ears and the now growing horns on top of his head.
"The horns aren't of a demon, that much I know. I've seen these types before but I can't remember from where." I said as I tried to think.
I shrugged it off and put it on the back burner as I began looking at his teeth and eyes.
Before I could get to his eyes however, he made a weird groaning sound before opening his eyes.
His face screwed up in confusion before he recognized my face.
"What's going on?" He asked quietly as he stretched and sat up slowly.
"Alex is going to take a look at you so we can get a little more info on what we're dealing with." Aiden explained calmly as he held Jayden's hand.
He just nodded and laid back down on the couch, letting me do what I wanted.
"Okay, open your mouth for me." I asked.
Most of his teeth were somewhat normal while his canines had a strange green hue to them. On closer inspection I could see venom building up inside them, similar to a snakes.
But snakes do not have wings or horns. This is going to be tricky...
I sighed as I tried to stay focused and gather all the information I could get. I looked at his chest and felt around his ribs. He giggled a little, trying to sit still.
"I'm sorry, I'm really ticklish." He said as he let out another laugh. I smiled a little at this.
"Alright, I'll try to make this quick."
He reminded me of a child. He was so small and fragile yet kind and gentle. His smile is uplifting and his laugh is contagious, one of the many qualities I envied.

It was a little while later and I had completed my analysis on what I had gathered tonight.
"From the information I have gathered, I believe that he is not a demon nor a snake but a dragon." Dylan and Aiden gasped, their jaws dropped.
"How can he be a dragon? Those things are ancient. Dragons are the rarest creature known to the supernatural world!" Dylan explained, exasperated.
"Will he be okay? He is already suffering the change enough and I don't know anyone who has any knowledge on how to deal with dragon transformations. He is an innocent bunny for crying out loud!" Aiden asked.
"Don't worry, I know it may be hard but I have faith that he will be back to normal soon." I assured with a small smile.
(Jayden's POV)
I'm a dragon? I'm sure a bunny and a dragon are a terrible combination. What should I do? I feel as if I'm incomplete, like something's missing about me. Maybe it's my instincts telling me I still have yet to finish the change. And that was frightening.
My thoughts were interrupted when I felt that same wave of pain course through me all over again. I willed it to go away with all my might but that seemed to make it even worse.
The pain was targeted on random scattered parts of my body. I would just start feeling numb in the one area when another started hurting.
I heard gasps around me as I squeezed my eyes shut. It felt like knives were being pushed through my skin from the inside out.
"Jayden... Your face..." Aiden said with a gasp as he held my face between his hands.
"What? What is it?" I asked, worriedly. I touched my face and was met with something hard sitting just underneath my eyes.
"What... Is this?" I asked, trying to pull them off.
"Don't pull on them Jay. They're scales from your dragon." Aiden said as he gently brushed his thumb against them. I unintentionally made a strange growling noise that was close to a purr as he brushed over them.
"That feels good..." I groaned as he continued running his thumb over the smooth black scales.
He physically flinched and goosebumps danced over his skin.
He suddenly crashed our lips together in a hungry kiss making my knees go weak. I could feel his tongue asking for entrance but I was worried about the new fangs I had acquired and didn't want to hurt him.
"Wait, Aiden, we have to be careful of my venom. We don't know what it will do yet."
"Well since it seems to be the strongest venom in the world, I would say proceed with caution." Alex said with a smirk. Aiden looked worried for a moment before it turned to astonishment.
"Wow, that is so cool!" He squealed.
I chuckled a little before my smile dropped.
My mouth was going numb, more specifically my tongue. I started to panic, thinking something was terribly wrong.
I quickly ran to the bathroom and opened my mouth to see a forked tongue in place of my normal one.
"Oh! My! God!" I screamed as I held my tongue out to get a better look at it. "I'm a freak!"
"What happened?" Aiden, Dylan, and Alex rushed into the bathroom to see me holding my tongue, vague tears in my eyes.
"Jayden, don't panic. This is all part of the transformation. Once you learn how to control it, you can go back to how you were before. You just have to let it all take it's course and then we can get you back to living your normal life, okay?" Alex explained as he rubbed my shoulder for support.
"I can't do thissssss." I hissed, cursing under my breath as my forked tongue snaked out of my mouth.
