Theodore wasn't lying when he said she had nothing to worry about, oh no. In fact, what he had promised her was even better than she had hoped.
Most of the children still remembered when Elanor fell into her breakfast. Of course they did, thats the kind of thing that brings your reputation down. But again, Elanor didn't have to worry. With Theo around people avoided her like the plague.
"What did he do that made that made them so scared?" she would continuously ask herself. Did he tell them something scary? Beat someone to a pulp? She wouldn't be able to figure that out on her own. No, she would have to ask him. But she was to shy to even talk to him. Unless he spoke to her first.
Now you can imagine that Theodore wasn't able to stay with her all the time, and you would correct. You see, he had the same disorder as Elanor, only worse. Meaning therapy, lots and lots of therapy.
And so, he told Elanor to stay in the room until he came back, so she did. Elanor would read books, draw, or play board games by herself. She was content with that, she liked the quiet. But that didn't last forever.
