Visit 6-3
~~~
Throughout my few visits, I had yet to see someone else enter the shop. It has just been me the past few times. But tonight, someone else entered. She looked about 20-21 at the oldest. My curiosity was piqued; what kind of person walks this side of the city at night? Someone along the lines as me. Who knows what she’s dealing with? What her current hardships are, what her struggles are? I wanted to know, but at the same time, I didn’t. She was a redhead, her hair curling tightly down to her lower back. She looked tired, sad. The shop owner gestured for her to sit in front of me. I wondered why, when there were so many empty seats all around. She sat down and looked down at the table. She smelled lightly of some sweet fruity perfume. It was familiar somehow, but I couldn’t really remember when I had smelled it before. Not like it mattered. The shop owner brought two full cups and set them down, taking my empty one with him as he left. The girl wrapped her hands around hers and kept them there. I picked up mine and took a sip.
